Hi.
Are any of your kits available to buy?
Thanks
I can certainly do some - I have sent you a PM

Oops. One half of the CAD model is flipped so I’ve got the windows on the wrong side. That’ll be fixed and reprinted…!

Trying the single coach with a regular coach seems to wrk so I think we will be good! I am considering making the Dellner ends at different heights and swappable. Next iteration perhaps...
-
The Dellner coupling is a bit trial and error - until I get two together I’m not sure how well the pivot point offset will let them navigate curves….!

So, main vehicle constructed and now to start the painting....

Hi, doing well thanks. Just re-posted the photos - although this one’s stalled out whilst I do other things. I’ll try and get back on it through the summer!

To be fair the artwork is going to be tricky. Steve at Railtec is trying to work with what I’ve been able to broker with Meridian but it’s not clear where we’ll end up!

Ah, well, you can’t change the habits of a connoisseur!

Made some good progress....
Model of the new roller shutter door and coupling equipment.....
I then got some of the Dellner Pivoting Multiple Working Couplings for the Bachmann Voyager from West Hill Wagon Works and chopped off the top section and put it together in the mount...
Really pleased, compared to the prototype:

where did you get the Rog 47 in the background?Kev
That’s a Vitrains that I did myself. “Jack Frost”. The translator coaches are complete 3D prints.

I should have some available in a couple of weeks time. Just bedding in the printer to make the print reliable!

New single piece body print:

I just changed printers and now can produce a one piece body section. Pleased with this, fresh off the printer/cure station:

Hi Jon, sorry, I wrote the reply to your PM but didn’t send it. You have it now. Yes, I can produce prints for purchase.

I built another one, although with a slightly different approach. For this one I used the cheaper Bachmann B4 bogies (no pickups) and cut the ends of a Bachmann chassis so I could use their close coupling system. I printed my centre chassis section and kept the body ends removable. I then fitted battery powered LEDs with a latching reed switch operated by a magnetic wand. I wasn't sure how long the battery would last so I didn't add the chassis lighting, but, it came out really nicely:

So I am deciding what to do with this one! I might make it 9711 and finish it to be on the restoration line in the shed....still need the numbers and tiny details..including cutting back the transfer on the wind deflectors and painting that in. Other than, not my period....

Applied the decals to one side. I was tempted to mask and paint the white lines but in the end went with transfers:

Added a new version, as per 37259. This one also now has some mounting pins to suit a Bachmann shell:
