  1. All day and all of the night- The Kinks
  2. I no longer drink beer as I seem to have gained some sort of allergy to the stuff, but luckily not cider or whisky. If you can find it I had some "leg wobbler" from the Weymouth cider makers. Sandford's do some delicious stuff too.
  3. Well with the Championship announcing they are against the proposed "franchise system" and many other league clubs now beginning to talk of mutiny, one wonders if this is the final nail in the Wasps, Worcester coffins. London Irish fans it seems are going in bus loads to support their amateur "Wild Geese" team and have already moved on.
  4. Return to sender- Elvis the pelvis
  5. Out of time- Chris Farlowe and the Thunderbirds
  6. Argh, google to check the spelling and missed my slot lol....................................... Here I go again- The Hollies
  7. Rugby fans will not be singing or chanting all that much, a very different group of people tend to follow Rugby Union, but the noise at these games will be evident on the tv highlights or you can watch the whole game after tomorrow on the Premiership rugby site to get a feel for it. If you want to feel it yourself, go to Kingsholm in Gloucester and stand in the shed, you might be advised not to wear a shirt of the opposition if you are of the timid type.
  8. Leicester v Northampton is not one for the squeamish either.
  9. With all the distractions off the field in the game, I'm rather hoping for some decent rugby this weekend, the East Midlands derby should deliver, with hopefully a home win.
  10. Only thing with impact tools, vibration white finger if you use them for too long, part of my last job prior to retirement was to get all hand tools tested and we had a chart of the maximum amount of time you should use them per shift. We did have some heavy duty wrenches that had heated handles to reduce the risk.
  11. 50 ways to leave your lover-Paul Simon
  12. From personal home use, doing up bigger screws/bolts with an impact is easier/better than without, using my corded(I don't own an impact cordless) hammer drill I was able to easily drive 6 inch coach bolts into railway sleeper sized timbers when building raised beds in my garden for veggie growing.
  13. Domestic screwdrivers would last about 10 minutes in an industrial situation, quite often the torque loading is much higher, so an impact driver does the job, easier and quicker.
  14. Health and safety, removing trailing live electrical cables from the site, seeing them in factories too where compressed air isn't around.
  15. I believe the Aussie rugby union fans use the same ploy..............................................
