  1. I bet that would've made the Guiness Book of World Records.
  2. I bet only one of these would've made it into preservation.
  3. Nice model, that! Is it worth an attempt in 00? Nice Atlantic, that! Worth an attempt in 00 Gauge, I hope.
  4. I decided to make a Mk 2 version of my LNWR Mogul using a G2A as the basis. What do you guys think?
  5. F Fascinating engine, that! It's worth attempting in model form, I hope.
  6. I've just had an idea and I might do an alternative version of the LNWR Mogul I made with a Belpaire firebox, a different smoke-box door, a flat running-board, a set of splashers, a slightly-short chimney, a slightly-short dome and a different safety-valve. As you can see, the original inspiration came from the LNWR Prince of Whales Class but as a 2-6-0 Mogul. Thanks to a marvellous render from a user on this forum, I decided to make the model based on that as it was an Improved Precendent that was given an additional drive-wheel. As you can see, this is my first-time editing images of real-life steam locomotives. This locomotive is the LNWR G2 Class 0-8-0 as I am making it into a 2-6-0 and re-using the number 1991 on both sides of the cab and it will be painted in LMS crimson (with a mix of BR crimson as the Crimson Lake is much too dark) with yellow-gold lining on the boiler. What do you think - is it a good idea to make an improved version of my Mogul?
  7. What a good little shunter, that! What liveries would it be produced in?
  8. An excellent model! Is it worth an attempt in model form?
  9. Actually, that's a good project! Besides, they look better in the books than on the TV screen.
  10. Yes, I understand. Still, it's worth a try in model form.
  11. What if the Midland Railway Yankee Moguls survived into LMS service until 1939?
  12. Suppose Drummond did a 2-6-0 inside-cylinder Mogul based on his 700 Class 0-6-0? What do you think?
  13. Hands up who can spot the irony? Everyone has a Mr Magoo moment now and then...
  14. I finally have a Princess Coronation! Or, as I like to call it, a Duchess Coronation. Because...the model I own is a Hornby Duchess of Suherland model.
  15. Thanks! I have improved overtime, you know. So, as you can see by my other previous models, this showcases the progress I have made over the years.
  16. Me, I would be using the modern Hornby DMU for Daisy.
  17. Fantastic layout, that. I love what you did. Also, could you please give us a tutorial on how to make our own Daisy model?
  18. Nice attempt. What if it was later rebuilt with outer cylinders and a cab like the GWR 4300 Class 2-6-0?
  19. Suppose the LSWR experimented with the 2-6-0 arrangement and made an experimental mogul?
  20. Wow! That's an impressive model! How would it be powered?
