hi shanks522 Im looking to build a 6x4 N gauge layout based on this trackplan (hope you dont mind) could we have a top down view of the layout or the trackplan on paper please?

has anybody got any tips to fitting the drop plate to the front of the loco?

Like with some of the sentinels, it can be better to have an unbranded loco, it can then be used in any settings without a repaint.

ive done the same, and I agree, a loco that has a mane or a certain livery, can be a bit limiting to where it can be used.

I agree. its gonna take years for Hornby, Bachmann and other manufacturers to cover all the industrial shunters, and there will be variants the manufacturers (probably) won't produce.

I hope they are removable.

thinking about it again, Bachmann would get a lot of negative feedback if they fixed the lamps in one position, and I didn't know that they used that headcode for station pilots.

I've seen some CAD drawings of the new Bachmann J72, and it shows lamps in the express passenger postion, are these going to be seperate details or part of the body moudling (there may already be a post disscussing this loco, but i couldnt find it)
