Very, very impressive Chris. My new 53806 has been well run in over the holiday period but I still can't get down to that level of slow speed control. What controller are you using please?

If you used a curved point a little to the right of where you show the new straght point you would:-
1) have a couple of inches extra in the siding to hide that loco you mentioned
2) avoid the track in the siding going right then back left in a very short disance

Looking good but just a bit concerned that the brewery might be too big for the layout and get in the way when viewing or operating.
Don't worry about the Dalek on the rooftop. It's that three-legged b*gg*r from War of the Worlds lurking in the background you should be bothered about!
