  1. Picked up the preserved version yesterday from the model shop in Northampton for 76 quid. Chose that version as it has the Fowler tender and late crest. Beautiful loco, runs almost silently a great companion for my 3F.
  2. I dont think it is a case of a rogue decimal point if you look at the prices of his other items!!!

  4. One small caveat regarding the various Korean built vehicles is that they may be good value, but many service parts are main dealer only and can be horrendously expensive. Personally i'd go for any thing built by the VAG group.
  5. My friend Steve, has made himself this "caravan" to tow behind a tractor. It comprises an old van body mounted on an a ex-mod four wheeled trailer chassis. He has put in a window at each end and is working on the interior, just what you need for a touring holiday! Can anyone identify the van body please?

  7. I notice a lot of Hornby cl 06 shunters in Pullman livery on ebay this week. Nothing to do with the ones on special offer from the Warley show??!!! Think i'll sit on mine for a while- literally!!!!!!!!!!!OUCH
  8. Going slightly off subject here but i've read somewhere the old Mainline MK1 coach windows are about the right size for a Trans-Pennine DMU.

    WOW! If it wasn't for the N gauge coupler in the picture I would probably have to look at it more than twice to realise it is N scale. Very nice indeed.
