Hmm, I think maybe not for this weekend but If I may drop a subtle hint for Warley…

I think theres an Achilles heel in this Superb range, which is a Bulwark of an idea if you have the Temeraire to ask. Perhaps a Hercules with a Valiant effort might Thunderer through in Defiance at some point with another solution ?

Ive been waiting in Exeter with a Centurion called St Vincent, and his friend Sir Edward Elgar in Dreadnought fear that a Renown Eagle, Lion or Tiger might need to be Repulse with a Glorious Leviathon of an effort. Another fella known as Rodney Howe was Fearless, as was a Conquerer of a Monarch in Agincourt seeking Revenge and got a Resolution a long time ago, such Indomitable spirit. He had a friend, Anson Benbow who was also Warspite with a Furious temper after he was left behind to clean up an Implacable mess without Ajax in Royal Oak, though a scientist called Neptune Collingwood helped him, so they werent much use in this suggestion.

i’m hoping my Illustrious, Swiftsure, Dauntless effort of this prose will some day lift a Hood and bring a Furious Vanguard that will be Victorious for my Courageous effort lifting an Ark Royal in Triumph.

It would be Formidable if you can figure out which 1 Barham did I miss (Dont worry, many of us did as it was an early casualty)?

I think my hint is subtle enough….

Are you looking for a Class 42?

Resin coal loads for the Chaldrons will shortly be dispatched from the factory, and should be available soon. They do bring the weight up nicely.

    Best wishes,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Previously the coal loads have been made with real coal,  will these loads for the chaldrons contain real coal or just resin?  BTW was any progress made with the loads for the HAAs?

    Thanks

My boots are by Aigle, made in France as they have been since 1853. They are green, and few French farmers come in the "gentlemen" category.

I also have a pair by Aigle and they are the best boots I have owned in years.  I used to buy Hunters, but when production left Glasgow and they changed the way they were made, I found they couldn't cope with country life in Nova Scotia.  Barbour themselves made wellies 30 years ago and you could have them in blue, if that was your desire.

For the sake of clarity there is zero duty on model railway items. You may pay Canadian sales Tax at the point of import however but that would be the case with any carrier? We're in the process of adding Royal Mail (and in time DPD) to the options ex Birmingham, so we'd hope to provide a multi-option selection at checkout in short order.

https://www.britanniamodels.com in BC is also a stockist, so you can purchase from a local Canadian shop instead also.

I stand corrected, it is HST I am paying rather than duty.  However, when items are sent by the post office they may or may not be stopped by the Canadian Border Service Agency and when stopped they apply a standard fee of $9.00.  When a Courier is used they add a fee to the fee and it often amounts to more than the HST for small shipments.

I look forward to the multi-option checkout.

My experience with Accurascale dispatch and DHL delivery has also been entirely positive throughout the last few months.,matching the quality of the product.

Wish my experience was the same but here in Canada I will be charged twice the admin fee for the duty and be subjected to a third rate service as DHL offloads to a local courier who doesn't appear to own a map.

I love the products but if Accurascale continue to only offer a DHL service I will have to shop elsewhere.

  6. I think it says a lot of Accurascale that although there is no need for a club, there are a lot of us out there that would be happy to join it.

Being old school, I'd like a magazine that contained the news and reviews that are on line, but I'd prefer to spend money on stock and if I really need a printed page I can print from the website.

Without trawling through all the comments, how easy is it to remove the body?  I’ve recently acquired a set of ModelU BR late crew to put in my 55001 ‘St Paddy’ and I can’t find anywhere on YouTube a clear video of the body being removed.  I have Arthritis issues with my hands and I want to remove the body without injury to both hands and model.

There are one or two videos on YouTube, but why oh why can’t they mount the camera on a tripod or clamp to leave the hands free?  Really annoying when your trying to watch something and the camera is pointing at the ceiling, legs, then floor, quick look at the loco and then at their crotch.  All very off putting.

Search of FAQ on Accurascale website provides many answers if you wish to look.

Shouldn't be long now before we hear from the retailers that they have had their allocation reduced and everyone will receive one coach from the set.

Apart from the Observation car, the stock is comprised of articulated twins.  Do you believe this one coach we receive will be a pair of just one half of a twin and we will have to find a friend with the other twin to run them and who would get the middle bogie?

    Just asking for a friend!

If they do a super detail Merchant Navy or Battle of Britain /West Country I would be very Happy !!I am 1978-1985 Diesel era but the Pacifics are my favorite steam Locomotives!

Yes,  I'd like a Sir Archibald Sinclair,  I'm sure the Accurascale treatment would produce an interesting model.

  10. I don't really think it is any business of anybody else why someone buys a product.   Some find enjoyment running trains, some in collecting boxes and others in buying something with the idea they might make some money selling it on.  All may provide joy to the purchaser and good luck to them.

In the time from the first press release until the closing of order books there was the opportunity to place an order.  Just because one person is able to and another is not is just a fact of life and I really don't care that for whatever reason somebody doesn't get to purchase the item.
