  1. just a quick thing I have barely any idea of how to use rm webs settings so if you have any tips on how to upload or share things it would be appreciated
  2. I have started the painting on the engine and I am going to do black lining with a red running board. It is coming along well so far
  3. Converting an old ertl Duke toy into a OO-9 england class from the ffestiniog railway
  4. I heavily adapted a loco design I found online on the website thingiverse by the user tebee and printed it of. I had to change the design on the inside a lot to make i look nicer and more detailed when it sits on the kato 103 chassis.
  5. I decided to purchase one of the new Thomas the tank adventures engines as (in my head) they could be converted into OO-9. So I grabbed this diesel engine with the hopes of making something similar to the Talyllyn railway Alf except with a centered engine and a larger hood. I cut of the cab and the insides and fitted it to a kato 103 chassis
  6. I have started this blog as a way for people to view my progress and for people to give me and others tips on making OO-9 railways. So everybody have fun and relax while you are here
  7. that is indeed why I tried to do it. As I know many people like the engine but I haven't seen many people try making it. It came out well but it is a little loud when running and sometimes derails going backwards going over sharp points but apart from that it is a very smooth runner and I am very pleased with how i turned out (apart from the gap under the frames)
  8. this is my Big Bertha model cobbled together from three old engines otherwise known as the lickey banker
  9. I have had a couple ideas and have made a engine of my own if people are interested I have a bunch of old locomotive parts including a royal scot locomotive chassis complete with wheels working motor everything and I also have the body shell of an old Hornby j50 So my plan was to make a j50 4-6-0 it actually looks alright length ways so far
  10. all of these engines are looking great so far I have been viewing this for a while but haven't said anything up until this point
