  1. BIG THANK YOU. Why? Explanation photos of Mike's Models Kit 101 Weighbridge. Instructions are definitely Room 101 (1984 reference)
  2. Interesting as always even though I'm not a GWR person.
  3. Please how do I wire this lot together. Lenz compact Digikeijs DR4018 switching decoder MP1 point motor.
  4. Hi Mikkel I'm starting on a first ever layout and it's to narrow at 300mm deep so your extension has inspired me to build my own. Could you give more detail on the construction. Questions 1. Is there a finish (like paper on plaster board) on the outside of your foam boards 2. How did decide how much weight it could bear? 3. What are your final choice magnets? Regards Julian
  5. Maybe done and dusted but these are ones that answer did fly-posting happen?
  6. Thanks for the tea crate sizes Mikkel. By way of thanks, in 1875 an act was passed that required towns, not villages, hamlets etc, to have pavements, street lighting and rubbish boxes. Not dustbins, very 20C, but any biscuit tin, box or other container and household could and were fined for failing to put theirs out for collection. So as Farthing has both it must be a town assuming the gas supply must also be used by the GWR.
  7. Hi Mikkel A awhile back you did some veneer printed crates. What sizes did you decide on for tea chests? I would like to gove it ago having come across a very nice company who gave me some thin veneer sheets to play with. Any help you could give would be much appretiated. Regards Goods Agent Fisher SE&CR note, change of role here.
  8. Were victorian/edwardians defacers of signage? A single dot after the R is social commentary on the distance from the writers abode and a dot after the T is a demand that the manure trucks park for 6 days in the hot sunshine should be moved. And finally I've no idea what a 'Hing' but I'm not a GWR man. Inspector Fisher SE&CR.
  9. Hi Mikkel I'm very impressed with your crates/tea chests and wondered if you have any spare ones, built,or in kit form that you would be willing to part with? Regards flyingbadger
  10. Great start. Loved the cart conversion. I would be interested in an update.
  11. "Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!" Great layout 'Ozymandias' (see your earlier photos) not so much despair as inspire.
  12. Hi Mikkel I've followed the developement of your layout(s) and the very informative articles you do from time to time. A while back you did one on figure storage. Could possibly do a storage article or give advice, for the rest of your buildings and any tips for ease of packing and unpacking?
