Hey there Crewe North :
That's just sensational modelling ... and beautiful photos to go with it too.
Oh, and the textures and colours on the struuctures are very convincing also ... no doubt a positive when modelling to your scale.
I love the cobbles. Maybe you could give us a rundown on how you went about doing the cobbles so convincingly ? Please?
Best regards,

Very pretty indeed. Another masterpiece Richard.
And though my own 7mm modelling concentrates on things a lot narrower in gauge, i find your models to be very inspiring.

A terrific looking model engine. Like several modellers on this forum, you are a craftsman and it's a pleasure to view your posts and see the work being done.
I particularly like the belpaire firebox on that model ... it "makes" it for me.
I can't really help you with your construction dilemmas although i have full sympathy with you. It can be agonising to decide the best method to accomplish a task, especially when you are also thinking about the next ten steps in the construction that need to be taken into consideration. As for the glass in the windows i think i'd be trying to build a slot into the side walls of the cab to enable a glass piece to be slid into place after the painting is finished.
Best regards,
