Hi Ian,
I have not seen any recent pictures, my guess is we wont until they either appear on here or retailers update their respective pictures.
On another topic any updates on the shed?
Regards
Julian.

Always interesting to see which ones sell best. The 58’s appear to be the original as built livery.
Maybe the same will be true with the 73’s. Makes me wonder what risk manufacturers take bringing out so many liveried, as an initial release, scaled back it appears from the original announcement.

Hi Julian,
Lamps from here and they will slip on & off the lamp iron as they have a slot underneath.
Thanks Nick, annoyed as I should have known that, thanks once again I will order tonight.

Just had my 58 sound fitted. ESU with active braking and twin speakers.
Heres the link

Class 58 arrived back yesterday and as Zimos are rarer than rockin horse poo, I went back to an ESU c/w active braking, twin speakers.
For some strange reason, Heljan went for a different colour yellow on the engine sides, hopefully weathering will tone that down.
Name plates fitted, excellent realtec transfers and extras from the bag added.

Hi Ade,
Hope your Dad is on the mend. My Mum who is 91, is 200 miles away in the Cotswolds and has terminal cancer. She has some district and palliative care nurses calling in on her. Shortly, myself an two brothers are going to spend a week with her in turns so I guess like you, everything will be parked.
Best wishes
Julian.

Thanks Julian - both painted using Humbrol #30 dark green. I then do a pin wash using burnt umber oil paint to bring out detail in grilles, panel lines and around bolts - it certainly makes a difference. Then a light dusting with Railmatch frame dirt on wheels, tracks and mud flaps.
The wheel chocks are from trains4u just like the Spartans. They up-scaled the OO version on request. I gave them a quick sand and sprayed with Halfords red primer, and darkened a bit with a black oil paint wash.

Thanks Chris,
Wish I would have asked when I ordered my two.
Im now looking to see if I have got transfers so I can put the military number plates on and call signs on the sides. Not sure if railtec do these.

Hi Chris,
Your Spartans are great, love the colour you achieved on them.
Did you make the chocks they are really impressive?
Kind regards
Julian.

Just taken delivery of a pair. Absolutely lovely model (a contender for their best O gauge diesel I would think (at least in terms of capturing the essence of the prototype)). Weathering is in progress - although I have not yet received the decoder I ordered, so I can't yet progress to running in. I will post some pictures when I can.
But I wanted to acknowledge their release and quality. Thank you Heljan!
Where have you sourced your decoder from? Zimos are scarce again?
RegardsJulian.

Hi Al,
where do you get yours from? Can you do active braking with the ESU?
Cheers

73107 arrived this morning. Looks stunning.
unfortunately Digitrains do not provide a sound file for a 73.
Howes have provided that and hopefully will arrive early next week.
