I think any event which encourages someone new to take up the hobby must be considered a success. My wife and her friend now want to build an N gauge or 009 layout for themselves. So how good is that!

Sorry I don’t know the gauge. But it is battery powered. It runs from its shed location down to station behind the roundhouse.

Had a very enjoyable day at the show. It is a fantastic venue. Will take some photos of the layouts tomorrow.

Simply like the look of the wagon is the easy answer. Already have a MICA van for prototypical trains.

The layout will eventually go out into the garden for some 40 feet. So I will be running some non GWR stock as a bit of variety.

This is really great news. I will be buying some now.

I bought another three sets of these today. They were selling well as the display rack was half empty by dinner time.

I did think the hall was darker than I remembered in previous years. Luckily someone found 50p for the meter by dinner time and the lights came on 😂
