  1. Is there a way I can hide a few joins on my cobbled stone yard I’m on building.
  2. Nice modelling! I like your layout design and low relief building.
  3. Just downloaded some more pictures of the progress on the layout. Cobble work is complete just need to hide some of the joins with weeds and grass. The two houses are painted ready to attach the drain pipe. ballasting will be completed this weekend along with the embankment area.
  4. I do not have a digital subscription as I am more than happy buying the magazine as it’s a treat for me and I like the gifts that pop up from time to time. This is my choice, I think people should be thankful we have a choice digital or magazine or both and just stop the complaining.
  5. Larry to tell the truth I did not recognise the young lady but she is a stunner. I find like you with space problems I find dioramas are excellent pieces to model. Thanks for the other diorama picture very nice and plenty going on.
  6. Larry thanks for the pictures, our layouts are similar in design. I like what you have achieved with your layout.
  7. This little layout just gets better the more I look at it. The attention to detail and landscaping is fantastic and inspirational.
  8. Hi Marc nice pictures of the original layout. I will be watching with interest your next build.
  9. Cheers Simon. It’s always nice when other rail modellers comment as it helps spur them on.
  10. Fantastic pictures, great detail. Can I ask what baseboard colour did you use on the oil tank.
  11. Hi everyone I have managed to model some more on my layout today. The sky has been hand painted with a few different colours and it’s turned out great. The embankment has been sculpted with strips of kitchen towel and PVA glue. The buffer stops are in place but they still need a little weathering. Today I put the mortar colour onto the houses which needs to dry before dry brushing brick red. A couple of pictures of my progress.
  12. A lovely little micro layout. I really like the grounded van and oil tank, your scenery work is spot on.
  13. Hi everyone I have had some spare time today to build an office and some coal straithes. The buffer stops are in place and as you can see I’m in the process of making individual rooms in the two houses. As always a picture of my work today.
  14. Nice modelling Jerry. I do like the shape of the factory chimney.
  15. Progress is slow due to decorating. However I have managed to fit the doors windows and glazing to the houses. The stone wall is starting to take shape, which will have a grassed embankment behind it.
  16. An interesting layout plan and baseboard design.
  17. Hi Hesperus your right and that’s where I got the idea from. Thanks for the comments.
  18. Luke I like small circular layouts. It’s amazing how much detail you can add to a small layout. I will be watching with interest.
  19. Very nice scenery work Mark. It’s great to see the little weeds and tufts of grass growing in between the path and brickwork.
  20. Nice bits of modelling, it’s great using household items to kit build.
  21. Managed to lay and fix the track. As you can see I have started to build the free laser cut houses I got with BRM. A great little model.
  22. Very nice, I like the fitted window frames. Your collection of steam locomotives are nice.
  23. Thanks Jerry I hope to have a picture of my diorama board download soon.
  24. Nice baseboard construction. I like you layout design and the scratchbuilt engine shed is looking great.
  25. A short update today. The baseboard arrived yesterday and it’s all glued together ready for some painting and track laying.
