  1. Thanks Kevin so this is a perplexing issue that no one really has a definite answer to, why is N Scale "sizes" different? In HO I would assume they all have the same "size" no matter the country / region.
  2. Yes thanks for your reply, it looks like I will have to just stick to one country with locos and rolling stock.
  3. Hi all I have several American N scale locos and also wagons and passenger cars. All was good till I purchased an Australian loco and some freight cars. The freight cars are Kato from Japan and Japanese wheat wagons. The first thing I noticed is that the Australian locos and wagons look a lot smaller than their American and Japanese counterparts, this is really bugging me and doesn't look good on my layout. I didn't realise there was a difference in "size" in N Scale? Aussie freight cars on left, Japanese on right https://photos.app.goo.gl/NiySdaBT7EmTaJSG7 Aussie loco on right of Japanese freight car - loco looks small compared to grain hopper, with an American loco it looks perfect size https://photos.app.goo.gl/aiCAjX2gX5WsRhJa8
  4. It was upgraded to the latest, I had to press shift two times to get the F20 and onwards working.
  5. ok I checked the multimaus and it shows software v2, do I need to update the firmware on the multimaus ?
  6. ok thanks Iain I am not sure if it has been updated, I just bought the unit a couple of weeks ago.
  7. hi all I am trying to figure out how to use function 20 onwards on my red z21 multimaus, I figured out how to use function 10 to 19 by holding down the shift key then the corresponding function, but do not know how to use for function 20 onwards
  8. thanks for your responses, I wish Roco would have a better manual which explains all this in their manual rather than having to ask these questions on a forum board.
  9. Hi I like to idea of seeing the speed on the app on the top right hand side, however on the loco I tested it looks like the speed on the app is inaccurate as it said I was doing 40km/h however the loco looked like it was doing close to 100 km/h is there anyway to match the speed on the app to a more accurate prototypical speed - I just rang as a light loco for the experiment. Thanks Clayton
  10. ok thanks for your response, yes it could be that.
  11. When I say power is applied I mean mains power not throttle power.
  12. Hello All I am new into the world of sound dcc and my first loco is a Bachmann N GAUGE 62351 DIESEL. However as soon power is applied the sound sequence of the loco is three long blasts on the horn and the diesel engine starts up. Is there anyway to stop the horn blasts as my wife finds the horn blasts irritating. The loco is equipped with a economi decoder. thanks Clayton
  13. ok that was the problem I found the white LAN cable I must have forgotten about it as it was in the ROCO box, now it is all working, thanks!
  14. I think I know what the problem is. I have been connecting the black wire to the LAN port at the back, the black wire is for the Multimaus to connect to the control centre. It should be connected with a WHITE LAN cable that I DID NOT receive from the supplier. I found out looking at this video, https://youtu.be/cCQGqAJGVwo?t=79
  15. Yes I have an android phone. Tried my wife's phone same problem.
