I had the same problem with a refund request for a sound decoder. After two weeks of exchanged emails i gave up and contacted PAYPAL, refund arrived next day!!!!!_

Request a refund, not fit for purpose.

Exactly,you should not have to alter CV settings to get them to run satisfactory. They are supposed to be RTR!!!!

My ROG also cuts out on startup,using Bachmann digital controller.

Fitted TTS to Regional Railways today and it's working very well. Hard wired the 21 pin plug to eliminate using a converter. All tts functions work but the tail lights and cab lights don't. The two white headlights change with direction of travel but the high intensity light doesn't work. Perhaps altering the manual switch settings may help to get the red lights working but you only need them when running light engine!! It's not a perfect solution but l had a spare decoder so l gave it a try.

Regional Railways unit is running well on 2nd and 3rd radius loop with crossover.However very slow speed is as reported a bit coggy.All light functions work as they should. Dapol Imperial 2,6 function decoder. 0 To enable functions 1 Front lights and destination board 2 Rear lights 3 Coach lighting 4 Rear cab light in direction of travel
