  1. I seem to chase shiny new object, especially if they don't have a tender. And I don't seem to be satisfied with a single example. I've got five 0-4-0s on pre-order. Perhaps I'm that man (but without the dog.)
  2. My order was successful as well. I want to thank everyone involved in bringing this project into being and the technical crew at Warners who made it possible to offer these models to the wider world. Much appreciated!
  3. No apologies necessary, Steve. The efforts you and others have made to make these wagons available outside the UK is very much appreciated. I wouldn't mind if you could set aside a set of the original four-pack for me so that I won't miss out. I think it won't be too long before you have a happy Jeff and a happy Geoff.
  4. Still no success with ordering. When I get to step 2, I'm informed "No payment method available." I was told via email that my initial order was cancelled (appropriately) by Warners, that the issue had been sorted and that I should be able to submit a new order, which I did without luck. I also got an automated message from the helpful staffer with whom I'd exchanged emails, KT, indicating they're now out of the office 'til the end of the month. Please advise.
  5. Thank you. I've placed an order for the original four-pack and postage is 27 pounds. I was surprised that I was not asked for payment details when placing my order. Presumably I'll be asked when the items arrive. Or is this not what should have happened? I also have gotten email correspondence from the Warners office in response to a query made about the wagons-- much appreciated.
  6. The required "Country" field on the order form still shows only UK locations. What should I do when ordering? Also, if you know, would the four-pack trigger the 29 pound rate?
  7. I need three or four of those vee-tipper wagons for mine spoil. RTR, please.
  8. I would be ordering multiples-- most likely the original set of four.
  9. More NCB wagons is fantastic news. Is there any update on their being made available outside the UK?
  10. JShow: Wait. There's a glass? No one ever told me there's a glass.
  11. These are NER 20T hoppers (which I also ordered when they were announced. ) There is a thread on the Accurascale Forum.
  12. I'm not sure anyone's mentioned the additional dumb buffers on LNER 986. Perfect for working with chaldrons.
  13. I have NCB Number 8 and Invicible on pre-order. Number 8 is one of my least favorite colors for a locomotive (or anything else,) but it's NCB and I should be able to tone it down with some appropriately heavy weathering. Invincible is a suitable livery match to my Rapido Beatrice, so it's going to be drafted into colliery work too. I don't need another one, but I was surprised at Spider's appeal.

Long time lurker in Portland, Oregon. I'm working on slowly getting out of my armchair. Primary interests currently are National Coal Board, NE England and figuring out what I might do with some Rapido tramcars and their upcoming Y7. So, working in OO, starting with a "plank."
  15. First post from a loooong time lurker, prompted by the announcement of these wagons. Like GeoffBird, I was excited to see this commission but disappointed that the wagons aren’t available outside the UK. I was (and am still) ready to order the full set. Regardless of whether I can ultimately purchase these wagons, I congratulate Andy Y. for his suggesting NCB wagons for an RMWeb commission and thank him for his efforts, successful or not, in exploring whether they can be made available to those of us outside the UK. I do most of my modelling from an armchair, but things are slowly taking shape for an NCB plank layout. I had figured that Rapido would eventually dress one of their RCH 1907 wagons in an NCB livery—in a way, an obvious move—and was delighted to see these RMWeb exclusive wagons on offer. Even if I might not be able to get any, I’m really happy that others will. Jeff
