  1. Hi Keith Will be soon. Building up the first batch of OO and N versions and will release all at the same time. The OO comes with chassis, bearings and wheels, the N version will be offered with and without a PECO 15' chassis kit. You can find me on Ebay at 12a_models and also contactable through the Milepost128Modelling website.
  2. I picked up a very nicely detailed Lima class 20 at York show last month for £15. It was sold as "no motor" but I only wanted a dummy anyway. Took the body off when I got home, found it had a working motor but no gears. Took out the "pizza cutter" wheels, replaced them with some spare Heljan class 33 wheels I had. Sold the wheels for £10 and the motor for £8. I'm £3 up and still got a lovely model to respray to pair with my Bachmann 20. There is definitely more money in the parts rather than the whole.......
  3. Thanks for your kind words Neil! Glad you like them. I do a similar thing with my 21T brakes. I bend the fibre optic, run it down the rear of the verndah wall and take it under the floor and then back up and into the van body where the LED housing is. I always have immense difficulty soldering those nano LEDs.......
  4. Printing the "w-irons" in resin is asking for trouble as you put immense strain on them just by trying to insert and remove the wheelsets. I print my chassis in PLA filament as a kind of plain generic unit and then dress them with resin printed details. For bearings I use Markits brass shouldered pinpoint bearings. I model in OO but assume similar are avilable for N?
  5. That's a belting idea and one I'll try on my forthcoming wagon project, thank you for sharing.
  6. Hi. Indeed I am still trading and these are still available from my EBay page 12A_Models. We will be launching our own website this year also. Glad you find them useful!
  7. Hi. The lamp bodies aren’t intended to have nano LEDs fitted inside. This will result in a light that is far too bright. They are intended for use with fibre optic cable illuminated from a LED inside the van. This will give a small red dot light rather than a red glow.
