Raised scenic section assembly completed, ready for track.

My list of to do jobs on the layout today consisted of:
Backscene boards to be cut to width, and length.
Cut to width, and length the the raised track bed for the scenic side of the frame work, the other side is being used as a work bench / tool storage area.

Railfreight General sector - only a handful of locos ever received it. Only 50149 and 50117 (once in preservation) carried it
37114, 50149, 60010, 87101 maybe a 86 as well I’m not sure. -
I know it’s the same old can we have bla bla....but lol
Can we have these in O gauge please, there ideal to run in short rakes of as few as 5 or 6 wagons behind a Class 08 ideal for small o gauge layouts.

Final rest day before I go back on shift today so a effort was made to crack on with as much as I could, not a bad enough was done with the station area trackbed assembled, and a start made on figuring out how to increase the height of the back scene and create a fish bowl type view.

I’m seeing a lot of men my age (mid 30s) with money fo spend coming through my shop buying O gauge, there is definitely a shift towards modern models in O.

Money on a Class 68, they have the rights and have produced them in N and OO.
A sweet spot of say £400 would be a show stopper if it’s right.
Failing that, or maybe a better choice would be a 66? Heljan don’t seem interested after all.
