  1. Very true indeed, Gibbo! I had an attempt at building a ‘Sentinel’ body for my Holden chassis. It didn’t go quite as planned - unsurprising when all you use is polystyrene! I’m purchasing some plasticard tomorrow to give it a go with something other than scrap from boxes. Any tips? Appreciated. -MJ
  2. Never thought I’d receive such a warm welcome! This thread really has inspired me. Heck, I’m working on one now! Expect a progress update in a few hours.
  3. Great advice all round! I really must get to work on industrial research - one of the few fields I’m unfamiliar with. EBay sounds like something fairly easy for somebody my age - now just to convince the parents... Cheers. -MJ
  4. Hello there everybody - I recently found this thread and WOW. These are some beautiful bashes! I’ve never attempted one myself (call me crazy), but this has inspired me to give it a go. All I’d like are some tips on how to go about doing things. I have an 0-4-0 myself, a Holden 101 from Hornby that has done me a few years, but has become my worst runner after vigorous service at the hands of my brother... Now, I’m a 12-Year-Old who has nothing but an X-Acto Knife, some acrylic paint, copper wire and imagination. Any tips on how to go about things? Much obliged. -MJ
