I am extremely happy to announce as of 11.42 this morning I became a proud Grandfather to a healthy baby boy. Daughter and son doing well, I am so elated!

Had to do something I was not looking forward to doing....taking my Dads layout down, it has taken me a week to remove all the boards and track, buildings and all the hard work that had been done on his layout, the layout had to go as my father is now in the advance stage of parkinsons and can no longer get in and use the layout any more. It was hart braking doing this as so much work had been done on this layout, it took me a whole day just to pack away all his rolling stock, locos. The rail...

First day loco cleaning today, absolutely loved it, I stink of diesel but absolutely loved it. Going out on the footplate next week

My roll bars came the other day. they are fantastic makes life alot easyer.

Been told at work i have to do more hours,been doing 40 hours a week,now have to do 44 hours.....and get the same pay...they said i had been under doing my hours for the last nine years!

One of the refuse operatives pressed the wrong button outside our house this afternoon, and the dustcart regurgitated some of it's contents into the road. It has been a damp and windy afternoon, and whilst they managed to clear most of it up before departing, they didn't manage to get everything, so you can guess what I've just been outside doing after getting home from work...

I spotted eight unbuilt Comet BR Mark 1 coach kits in the 'second-hand' cabinet at Expressway Models, Buckfastleigh station this afternoon, if that was of interest to anyone

At last have got the layout up and running and the new boards are wired up,now i can run loco's round to the new bigger fiddle yard and it all works!

I'm going to a place called Reading, then to somewhere called Feltham, then to somewhere called Waterloo, then to somewhere called Canning Town, then to somewhere called Custom House.
