  1. Hello, I've been in a very Meccano mood and I've bought my VERY first Meccano Percy which I have a Hugh Appreciation for meccano, and Hornby Dublo not wanting to go the route of converting it to DC 3 rail and being more familiar with AC and Joshua Lionel Cohen's Lionel Electric Trains using a serviceable MPC Lionel era chassis and Approximately 2 1/2 hours of Dremeling later here is what It looks like so far, not being Finished yet I have bought a few Necessary supplies for it being black styrene and AC SPDT switches (as the E-Unit was a posable switch) which I have got with me! to finish the model structurally, work will commence very soon! ( Any suggestions for paint matching the Green Paint?? Thanks! ) This is my Commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Railway Series in 2020, I'm super excited to get this done!
  2. Hello! Its been a while, I have a project that I'm sure some of you will remember building as kids or teens in the late 50s! I've been busy at work building THIS! a little rough I know, but this is a Perfecta and EX - L&Y Pug plastic model kit both from 1958 that I've been re-working on to look like Percy the Small Engine from a Newish 3 part Series called "Percy Does The Thing" a YouTube Series that I've been wanting to model for the past 3 years ever since the first part came out in 2015 or 2016!! not having much luck with the Dapol kit version as the parts from that kit are way to flimsy from Experience building them, these are certainly better and by far more sturdy!! I decided to go with this! I think I Succeeded in getting the first set of coupling rods to move... (Tip!: Use Filler or Contour Putty to bind the crank pins to the wheels that hold on the coupling rods!) I'm sort of keeping it true to the original design of the kit and what I've been wanting to model, but I'm keeping the Sandboxes (Tool boxes???) on this LMS example, and I'll be adding a coal bunker as well, I'm certainly stoked to complete this project! I've got a TON of Marklin 3 rail pre-war track that I'd like to use eventually with this project I bought at a Hobby Shop locally that used to be club track, hoping I can hook up the controller I've got to the Ancient Track! (Secondary note!: Hornby Dublo and Marklin OO (Really HO, yes I've checked!) Match up perfectly together, I don't Recommend the Double straights) And Don't worry all glue marks will be filled in
