The beauty of my batteries is that they are linked to the web. This means that you can log on to a website and set when you want them to charge and how much you want them to discharge. If this wasn't possible then your entirely in the hands of the electricity supplier.Not certain if this is a bad thing but it certainly gives me more control. One other thing I have is a device called a Harvey- not certain why it's called that. This allows me to heat my hot water tank up from the batteries. So when I turn the gas boiler off this summer it won't have to turned on until the Winter as I'll be getting hot water from the sun. That to me is definitely why I think all houses should have panels.

Just when I thought it was safe to start looking at this thread again look what you go and do. Can't you at least post some sort of warning. You know like they do for things that previously were ok, but are now deemed unsuitable for poor innocents.

And don't forget his 'diamond cross'. Looks like it might be a cheap knock off though.

I've signed up for the Go option. This means I get cheaper electricity during the early hours and get a higher rate between four and seven in the evening for exporting. I currently charge my batteries on the cheap rate but as the days get longer I'll be looking to reduce this. One thing i do though is limit the amount of battery discharge so that in the evening I don't run out juice and have to import it.

I'm with Octopus who so far I've found ok, but I've only been with them for six months and slight less for the solar. A relative also has solar and with Octopus, but like you he gets a cheque.

I only had to send a photo at the beginning when I started to export my surplus electricity. In addition my account is credited, rather than having to mess around with a cheque. My last payment was more than the cost of the electricity.

I think we're going to need a bigger boat.

Oh make a note of it as it will probably be a long time before you get another delivery.

Given the fact that Royal Mail are only delivering mail if they feel like it, it's unlikely that it would be delivered anyway.

Nope this is a 'proper' one. I know that the participants get great enjoyment out of this sort of thing- what with having to research the equipment/clothing etc, but to me it seems like they just want to dress up and then roll about in the mud. I suppose it takes all sorts.

That would be very underhand. Taking advantage while the poor squadron leader is still not back up to fighting strength. I like it. Perhaps I should employ such tactics in my campaign to obtain a shed. Have I mentioned I don't have a shed. I do have a full set of finger nails though. Unlike some.
