  1. A closer view of the same boiler. This reveals a closer look of the rust on the boiler and the tarp tightly wrapped around the chimney. It also confirms that there is a slight step between the smokebox and boiler. In the top right of the photo you can see where the safety valve top cover should be (near the firebox).
  2. The front view of 4930 Hagley Hall's boiler. I've noticed that there is a step between the smokebox and boiler. The handrails on the smokebox are shorter than I expected so I will file them accordingly. I will also have to drill to more holes either side where the supports were. Basically, I'm copying this photo and recreating it in model form.
  3. I've just realised. The wheels are smaller in the bottom photo. I will rectify that immediately.
  4. Here's a pic of the boiler. I still have to file down the lines on the boiler side, fill in the gaps near the firebox and modify the backhead. After that, I can proceed with weathering.

    McKellar Yard

Gauge: OO (1:76) Size: Era: Era 7 BR Corporate Blue Post-TOPS (1972 - 1982) Region: Scottish McKellar Yard depicts an fictitious yard located on the outskirts of Dunfermline during the 1970s. The yard shunter, Class 06 06008, is allocated at the nearby Dunfermline Townhill TMD and can be seen regularly shunting wagons in the yard. The layout is not yet fully complete. Progress can be viewed here:
  6. That's Intriguing... I've just typed it into google translate and it means something completely different!
  7. This is new build Saint 4-6-0 2999 Lady of Legend. Note the boiler awaiting cladding. It will look something like this once it is finished. Here's a view of the firebox end of a GWR 2-6-0. I've noticed that the smokebox is bigger than the boiler around the edges. I'm too not sure if the Hall has this or not.
  8. Sticking to Wales, Some welsh words could make good layout names. For example: Bryn mawr - Big hill Rheilffordd - Railway Tref wrth y llyn - Town by the lake Bryn yr orsaf - Station hill Llyn twnnel - Tunnel Lake Tref dwnnel - Tunnel town I'll try and come up with some more... James
  9. I typed it in to Google Translate and apparently, it translates as "Omnibus Valley People"
  10. I named my N gauge layout by two things that were on the layout: a road bridge and the backscene (which was Gaugemaster's Industrial Large Photo Backscene (GM706) ) Put them together and you get Draxbridge.
  11. Live and let die - Paul McCartney and Wings
  12. Around Winter 2020-2021. That what it says on the Hornby website.
