I am seriously tempted to model this wee loco in Om or perhaps larger as a one off project. Mind you I say that about almost every train I see!

I vote for NBR Atlantic too

Freight at Wengen. It is brilliant that the driver sits at the front remotely controlling the locomotive at the rear
-
Surely you mean East Stirlingshire, the first team Alex Ferguson managed!
-
I have drawn up the remaining buildings at the entrance to GQS including the North British Hotel, or at least as much of it as will fit on the layout. I will copy these and mock them up in place to see how it looks
-
I will go for 47236, Rover Group Quality Assured -- not in my experience! Especially the Range Rovers. All the ones I have owned have been terrible!
-
These are brilliant. I really like this era of Swiss trains Cheers David

That has come out perfectly. Good picture too

I will go with 60160 Auld Reekie

Paul, Looks like a perfect day out Cheers David

Here are a few more to whet your appetite. No trains, but if you zoom in on the patch of snow in the middle of the last one you will see it is not a patch of snow!

We should all be contemplating summer holidays, perhaps to Switzerland, but obviously that is not going to happen anytime soon.So I thought I would post some pictures of the scenery we are all missing. All these pictures have a train in them somewhere, some more obvious than others

I have always liked these little boxy locomotives. Considering some are over a hundred years old it is good we can still see them at work. This is at Lauterbrunnen in 2012

Much as I love them Clayton Class 17

You are not wrong. I had Interlaken in HO/HOm and Brechin in O on the go together. I'll need to floor more of the loft if I want to do that now!
-
Now that I have trawled through and posted all these photos I want to model Interlaken Ost! For the same reasons I started the model previously I suppose. Mustn't be distracted from Glasgow Queen Street for now though!
