Stunning piece of work again. I don't think I would have the courage to pour that!

I'm just getting back into modelling again and have been following your thread for a while.
I managed to dig out the 2 grampus kits I've had for 15 yrs to look at building them into fitted vehicles. I knew you'd done this previously and found it along with your video, very interesting they are to.
But I am asking about your YOB kit in the background. I also have one of these stashed away, have you done anything with yours yet? I believe you were going to motorise it ?

Great work. Enjoyed this thread.

I really like the back scene on here. The fence etc gives it a lot more depth than it actually is. Well done.

I must have a sort of reverse-auto-spell-check as I didn't even notice your typo until you pointed it out!
Doh!

Congratulations on reaching quite literally this mile stone. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

We've all enjoyed your blasts from the past Andrew. Can't say I have a favourite, so many to choose from.
Would like to have seen Bitton finished as I live in Bristol and visit often with my family.
Good luck to you both with the move, hope to hear from you soon.

There looking really good. Don't envy you doing all those, but it's going to look really impressive when complete.
I've only got 6 so far but nowhere to run them yet.
-
I too am looking forward to it. Some running videos maybe?
I want to see some full haa's loads!

I've been following this thread for a while now and always look forward to see what's happening next. The back scene is incredibly convincing, especially within 2 inches! Looking forward to the start of the shed, even if your not!

It's all looking good. I always think model lights, either rooms, lamps or even engines are usually far too bright. Looks a lot better with more resistance in the electrics.

That is truly an awesome office diorama. Well done.

Good luck with that Joner. Who's sound chip is it?
I've got a digitrains protodrive for the 37 and youchoos immersive for the 60. All foreign to me as I'm not electrically minded.
I'm probably going to take all weekend to fit 1 decoder. I'm not going to rush it and will be heading to the tinternet for help.
At least while I'm off I've been busy planning my new summer/train house. That and keeping the kids somewhat occupied.

Awesome sound on the 37 Mr Peters. I have a DJH 37 awaiting its sound system to be fitted once I've finished building it. This weekend I'm hoping to fit my Heljan 60 with sound. Once my wife has cleared her makeshift desk I made so she could work at home, it'll be my model desk for 2 days. Luckily I have a rolling road so I can give them full throttle!
Never fitted DCC before, so a little apprehensive about blowing 200 quid.....literally.....wish me luck!

Looks awesome Mr Peters. I feel the pain of not being able to run new purchases.
However this week I've been off work with a chest infection and my boys in school, I took to hoovering the living room and dining room carpet and putting some track down yesterday!
Played with my sound chipped Dapol 08 first with HAA's and VBA van. Then I broke out my 2 new Heljan 60's and cargowaggon and flats.
Of course the controller was ripped from my hands when my boys got home from school!

I've finally caught up this extremely interesting thread. Taken me about 3 weeks from start to current page and I want more.
Given the go ahead from my wife after moving into our first house 14 yrs ago and gutting it. I'm now starting to build up a collection of diesels to go with the kits I'd purchased in the previous years before a mortgage was more important!
I've 2 work sheds in the garden that need replacement this year, so we're looking at a summer house type wooden building as a replacement. Its going to have to store all my DIY and garden gear, my new weights bench that's far too big for the dining room! And I'm told a railway layout if I want one. I am determined to make it fit.
This will still be some months away, even if it stops raining for more than 24hrs! I have some great ideas but won't know what sort of space or shape I'll have yet.
All the best for your move and wish everyone good health in these challenging times ahead.

Loving the weathering on your wagons.
Will be "rustin" your 08 too or covering it in grime? Looking forward to more of your projects.

You'd think with all this spare time not reading Andy's layout building, I would have time to do some!
Unfortunately I'm a makeshift teacher now, so no time still!
