  1. Well my blue/grey rake has arrived & been tested. At the front I have the A/S siphon G newspaper van, followed by 6 TSOs, a Mainline RBR and a FK+BFK. The RBR renumbered as W1644 looks fine in daylight but in the dark the lack of lighting stands out.

I timed the lights after turning off the power. They fade slowly with the first going off about 4 mins, the last went off at 5m30s.

Below are some pics of the interiors with lights on. You can actually also see the WC through the obscured glass and if you wait about 2-3 mins after power off can actually get a pic showing that.

All I need now is an A/S BG and buffet car with a W prefix!

  2. I am happy with your current service, as mentioned above except the Royal Mail.

Due to the value of the products, the ability to choose the delivery date or deliver to a pick up point is very useful. Royal Mail despite offering the service, don't actually do it and this week for example, I stuck a note on the front door for the postman to deliver the next day. He told me that the notification system doesn't work so he delivers on the day it arrives. He doesn't get divert, chosen date, or deliver elsewhere info most of the time. Great postmen, just crap organisation!

Perhaps ability to tag order with preferred deliverer?

I'm looking forward to the Electrostar announcement!

(If I say this every time, it's bound to come true eventually...)

As much as I agree, imagine all versions being announced at once!! You'd need a mortgage to cover that lot as 8/12 car units

    Hi @Michael Hodgson

Funny enough our Glasgow announcement last year, the Class 66, was due to be announced on the Friday, and was leaked by an individual who was passed on the information by another manufacturer. The individual posted it onto a well known Facebook group with much glee about 30 mins before the actual announcement.

The same individual has been boasting that he will pull the same trick this year, while referencing our fondness for potatoes. You know, cos we are Irish and all. So, let’s see what he leaks this year.

    Cheers!

Potatoes & Leeks! No idea what loco that is 😁

Perhaps you need to 'leak' an announcement for 01/04/24 for him to leak, something really errr silly!

Well, Well, Well - A First Look At The Warwells In OO!

Following on from the rather exciting news last Tuesday that we had taken on a number of the Hattons Originals toolings, beginning with the Warwells in OO, The Wainwright P Class and the Andrew Barclay tank engines, we can now bring you the first update on these projects.

We will have news of the Wainwright P Class and Andrew Barclay tanks in the coming weeks, but first let's look at the production samples of the Warwell wagons in OO gauge!

As reported in our announcement blog last week, production of these models is already complete and the models had already been signed off by the Hattons team. We are now responsible for the delivery of these models to market, with any Hattons pre-orders having been transferred over to us and is now logged on our system.

If you have not heard from Hattons, or from us and you do have a Warwell pre-order, please get in touch with us immediately so we can safeguard it for you.

We can report that the fit and finish, along with the decoration on these wagons is excellent, and a credit to the Hattons Originals team, making these distinctive wagons really stand out.

We can now confirm that these wagons will leave the factory next week for their trip from the Far East to our warehouse in the UK. We envisage them landing with us in April, depending on the continued unrest and shipping disruption in the Middle East.

Although some of the running numbers are now sold out, we still have a selection which you can pre-order via our website for £25 per wagon. Click on the link below if you fancy adding some to your fleet, and be sure to check out Trains4u who have also commissioned two Warwell Wagons in this production run.

I like this one on your social media!

Honestly, these days, it’s impossible to know :)

We have an extensive roadmap and right now there are over a dozen powered models past the point of no return and unannounced. If another manufacturer announces them or already has after we passed that point there isn’t much we can do except perhaps avoid directly duplicating numbers / liveries (which can be done right up to about 9 months before delivery).

Tomorrows announcement tho has not been announced by anyone else though. ;)

    No countdowns anywhere . . . I await midday :)
