Well, we have a lovely spot for our stand!
yesterday felt quieter than last year, but overall we had a pretty good day and surpassed last year’s takings.
We are now looking forward to day two!
do come and say hello if you are there today.

Unfortunately we have a staff shortage this weekend due to the Alexandra Palace show, so unfortunately, we will be closed all day this Saturday (18th)
however we will be open on Sunday 19th with slightly extended hours of 10-4 and open as usual from Tuesday 21st March.
please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

Just to note
most of these are being launched this weekend at the London Festival of Railway Modelling.
They’ll be available online from next week!

Thanks Paul
the bumperettes have been picked up for the next print run.
I’ll add the nato hitch to the list of amendments and see what we can do about mirrors, as this applies to other vehicles too.

Surpisingly, the military SIII 109 GS Truck is very hard to find in 1:76 scale.
Trains4U is pleased to provide kits of this ubiquitous vehicle in both soft-top and hard-top versions.
These vehicles were introduced in 1969 and produced until 1985, with the British Military acquiring over 10,000, with some lasting well into the 1990s.
The kits are provided unpainted and comprise a one piece open body with either hard-top or Canvas hood with separate tailgate
wheels are separate
For the 1:76 versions, Pre-cut acrylic glazing and paint masks for the wheels are provided.
These kits are priced at
£12.50 each (1:76/OO)
or 2 for £15 (1:148/N)
other scales can be produced on request (prices will be determined on ordering)
The release date for these kits is 18/03/2023- 5

Trains4U offers four versions of the British Army 4x4 Weapons Mount Installation Kit (WMIK)

They are available in 1:76 (OO) scale for £10 each or in 1:148 (N) at 2 for £10
These variations represent the WMIK based on the Land Rover Wolf TUM throughout it’s lifetime.

In 2020, our exclusive Cavalex Models OO Warflat wagons were delivered, and whilst they have sold successfully, we still have a fair number left.
One of the comments we most often heard was "I'd buy some, but there's no proper vehicles to put on them"
In order to reignite sales of the Warflats, we considered options for appropriate vehicles that would complement them.
With that in mind, we have commissioned several designs that can be produced in-house on Resin 3D printers.
As of today, we have three types of vehicle, with a further 8 (including variations) being released at Alexandra Palace on the 18th of March 2023 .
The news of these vehicles has been posted to the Cavalex Warflat thread, but as the range is quickly growing, I felt that they deserved to be put under our own banner.
Each main vehicle type will have its own thread - with vehicle variations kept in the respective topic.
Whilst the vehicles have been produced with 1:76 (OO) scale in mind, some are also available in 1:148 (N) and they can be produced at different scales on request.
All vehicles are supplied unpainted and require some finishing and assembly.
The range today consists of:
British Army Series 3 3/4t GS Truck - Soft Top 1970 - 1995 £12.50 (Released 18/03/2023) N = 2 for £15.00
British Army Series 3 3/4t GS Truck - Hard Top 1970 - 1995 £12.50 (Released 18/03/2023) N = 2 for £15.00

Any chance you can put the relevant dates for each model in the description for them on your website please?
I’m not great on my military models and struggle matching up the website and the info in this thread.
Thanks,
Roy
once these vehicles are releasedI’ll get a more comprehensive list online with more info and pictures.
they aren’t particularly well arranged at the moment.

Price is TBC, but dosent stop rails asking £30 deposit.
Pity theres no indication of price, even if its a rough estimate.
Interested in this and the 56 but the lack of price means i wont preorder.
I'm hoping we will get an MSRP in the next week or so. I'd expect it to be comparable to contemporary models from other manufacturers (But that is just my guess based on experience!) as has been the case with the 56.
By the way, not all retailers are requiring deposits, if you want to secure a model... :)- 4

Mine turned up last week, and bar a shipping issue that Trains4U sorted pretty much instantly (fantastic customer service there, will be buying a lot more from them in the future!), these are absolutely bloody marvellous models.!
Thanks for the kind wordsof course I’d love to personally take the credit 😉, but it’s John and the staff at the shop who really do try their best to look after everyone.
sometimes we do make mistakes (especially with the volume and complexity of the orders going out with these wagons) but I’m pleased we were able to resolve the issue of the missing item quickly and to your satisfaction.
I’ll pass your comments on to the team at the shop
thanks again!

We have now received the majority of our wagons (enough at least to satisfy pre-orders)
we have attempted to contact all of our pre order customers. If anyone is expecting to be contacted, and hasn’t been, or has had a message from us, please give us a call to arrange payment for your order.
Unallocated wagons will be put online this week.

how sad, a great loss to the hobby.
I hope all turns out well for everyone at EE.

It would be quite a way down the list as we ate primarily investing in loads for the warflat.
but we will look at broadening the range over time.
coincidentally, the Warrior is the first vehicle I ever drove (barring go-carts and dodgems!)
when I was a 15 year old Air-cadet!
And I’ve just made myself sad realising that was thirty years ago…

The antennas we know about.
I’ll look to see what options we have for wheel fitting as it may be possible to fix the wheels higher in the wheelarches during construction.
we are also ensuring the side steps can be stowed in the upright position
I’m keen to provide a kit that will suit both railway modelling and war gaming

In case anyone is wondering
the .50 cal weapon on the Jackal is a separate part.
They’d never be fitted for rail transport!- 4

you could add some of these…
I’m looking for any feedback before we print them.
Stowage boxes would put them out-of-gauge on a warflat, so these are a separate fit (so are the rifles), but could remain fitted on a Warwell
