What an absolute shame. I was really looking forward to the first and last set. This will hopefully not impact too much on the company. The BBA's are excellent models and hopefully the same problems wont befall the class 56 project.
Fingers crossed.
The problem isn’t severe, but it is enough that, if left, could have resulted in criticism more damaging than choosing not to release them.
It was an avoidable assembly mistake that couldn’t have been foreseen by anyone in the UK, especially as factory visits are a no-go at the moment.
These things happen occasionally unfortunately,
It makes me wonder how many models land with other suppliers that never see the light of day…?

Hi
Well, it appears that the cat is out of the bag.
We (Cavalex, KMS and ourselves) were planning on waiting until the models sere in the air before making an announcement
I can confirm that the red cradle variants are with the freight handler in China, awaiting a flight to the UK, but there are continued regional covid lockdowns occurring which is impacting the shipping process (hence wanting certainty of an actual flight) but we are anticipating that they will leave China this week.
The remaining wagons (HOP ABs, CDAs, HFAs and coal and blue HAAs) are entering the final phases of production and will be shipped by Sea once complete.
I cannot speak for KMS, but we will soon be contacting customers for payment for the red cradle hoppers.
customers who have also ordered other wagons in the range will be offered free postage on the balance of the order, which will arrive later this Summer (we won’t ask for payment until they arrive)
As soon as they are on a plane, we’ll let you know!

Generally speaking, expect to get between 30% and 50% of what the retailer sells similar items for
(some retailers are fairer than others)
you may get slightly more for trade-in than cash.
bear in mind, the retailer has overheads, VAT on the price differential and a margin to prepare items for sale and in case damaged/mis-described items show up.
then they will want to make some profit.
if you go to a trader anticipating this, you can know what sort of values to expect/accept.

No i mean , do your own choice of decals . the only one that sold i think was REX Rfd class 47s from Vi
Heljan did unnumbered 47s in green, blue, Large logo and triple grey
we sold literally hundreds (though they were only £50 each at the time)

We have taken in a large collection of OO (nearly 100 locos)
mainly BR early crest steam and transition, mainly boxed Bachmann.
lots of good boxed wagons and carriages.
our cupboards have been completely refreshed with lots of older stock migrating to eBay.
Do drop in and take a look, or let me know if there is anything particular you are looking for.

I have the Colas version on pre-order with you. If I were to change my mind at some point and go for the DC Rail one would it be a major issue? I'm torn between the two...
Not at all!
you can modify your form yourself
or just ask and I can do it for you
(or you could push the boat out and get both! )

As previously stated
all versions are available to pre-order with us, with no deposit required.
(link to the order form is on our homepage)

Have you tried calling?
sometimes emails get diverted to junk (thanks Microsoft/McAfee)
At this busy time of year, things drop through the cracks. I doubt you are being intentionally ignored!

Our BBAs and BLAs are expected to arrive with us this weekend
Order online now and any orders received by end of day Monday 20th will be dispatched on Tuesday 21st, meaning they should arrive in time for Christmas (mainland UK only!)
We have three exclusive Railfreight BBAs in addition to the thirteen main-range models, all with good availability!
-
We have only a couple each of R3840 and R3841 left in stock... Be quick if you want one.
It's a shame our allocation was cut so drastically by Hornby.- 2

Ours are due tomorrow
we still have some unallocated
they will be available online at some point during the day

Last I heard, they were a couple of days out of Felixstowe.
The container then needs processing and the stock forwarding, but it shouldn’t be long now.
keeping fingers crossed that they arrive before Christmas
-
The DBSOs never carried that livery
they were introduced on the Anglian services in 1988/89 when the 158s took over the scotrail shuttles.
they had the gangways removed and were painted into swallow livery before introduction.
The sealed gangway version has not been done by Bachmann yet, and when it is, it won’t be in executive livery I’m afraid.

Is there a reason why when you go OO->Wagons->Accurascale on your website the MDVs/MDOs don’t show? They only appear under newly arrived which seems a bit limiting.Roy
Administrative error…
