  1. Eisengebrau packed and ready to go. I hope I can find my way in to the Travelodge at Broadway more easily than the last time I stayed there!
  2. Back home with Grizzly Woods. Thanks to Alex and colleagues for a most agreeable weekend. Friendly and well organised. Hope to be there again next year, all being well.
  3. Waiting with anticipation at the hotel to get to the venue and set up Grizzly Woods RR
  4. We've been there (with a diiferent layout) for the last three years or so, this time with our German O layout 'Klinkerhofen'. However, the layouts have been either European or American and we too suffer from being blanked by some spectators because of that. We are either ignored completely or get a glare and a muttered "Oh, it's foreign," We enjoyed the weekend but I agree that the hours are long. Thanks to Dave and John and colleagues for looking after us. Another award for the layout was welcome. Getting ready to go to Derby now with another "foreign" layout. See you the there?
  5. All being well, Meg, Simon and I will be there with Klinkerhofen - German O. Come and chat and smell the chocolate smoke.
  6. Thanks to Mal and his team for an enjoyable weekend with our On30 layout Grizzly Woods RR.
  7. You might have to rely on the exhibitors themselves to post info about their layouts - which I've done.
  8. All being well, Meg, Simon and I should be there with Klinkerhofen - German O - Era III/IV
  9. Fair enough. We do suffer sometimes from the "You don't want to look at that, it's foreign" view. I did wonder whether a separation of the layout listing feeds that but I accept your point entirely and will now pack up my tent and slip away into the night! Every time we have exhibited at Derby the layout mix has always been good.
  10. As one of the providers of an American layout, there might be less scope for "discussion" if the foreign layouts were simply listed along with all the others as part of the show rather than having a separate and unidentified presence
  11. Hi Stan Meg has decided to rename her Canadian National N layout as St COMBS. I do whatever the wife says! Sorry for the inconvenience in having to change your layout list. I can confirm that, all being well, the usual tablet will be available.
  12. All being well, Meg, Simon and I will be there with EISENGEBRAU. Peter, please note correct spelling! To avoid any recriminations the misspelling was my fault originally by giving Peter duff information!
  13. All being well, Meg, Simon and I will be there with EISENGEBRAU. Peter, please note correct spelling!
  14. Just for information, our layout Grizzly Woods RR is On30 rather than 016.5.
  15. All being well, Meg and I hope to be there with our On30 layout, Grizzly Woods Railroad (Continental Modeller Feb. 2017). Stop by, say hello and have a play.
