According to their catalogue, Tillig do a code 83 TT 3-way point, item no 83230 . I've no experience of this (I use Peco track) , but it's mentioned in a thread in the German railways section of RM Web In case this helps Mike
  2. I was surprised to find these in Harburn Hobbies in Edinburgh today. I purchased what was probably the last one they had in stock, but they also had three made-up examples in a display cabinet. I wonder how long Peco have been working on these and was it a secret as the first announcement I noticed was in the current Railway Modeller. Not that cheap (£19.95 RRP) but a nice looking kit comprising two postcard size laser cut wooden sheets and a plastic fret from other kits for the gutters and downpipes. It reminds me more of the Noch and Busch mini-kits than the more traditional Peco lineside series. .
  3. Thanks for all the photos. The German scrapyard layout at the end of the pictures was one of the standout layouts for me - unusual, incredible detail and the most convincing display of decay I've seen modelled. Mike B
  4. Gordon Thanks, yes, the button is an image (png) file. Although I have my e-mail set to not download pictured automatically, the button still did not appear when I clicked the "view pictures in this message" option,
  5. It depends on your e-mail system (I use eM Client) but if you right click on the message it typically says something like "view mail source" and somewhere in the resulting gobblygook is the link ; <a href=3D"https://secure.worldpay.com/public/paybylink/XXXXXXXXX"/>,where XXX is presumably specific to each customer.
  6. I received the payment e-mail late on Wednesday evening and want to pay, but there is no "Pay now" button / hyperlink to click in the e-mail Does anybody else have this problem? (I can't see an answer on the FAQs link or through Google so I've e-mailed MMRG and am waiting for an answer.)
  7. Am I the only person confused by the review in this issue of the DCC Concepts ground signals? They are described as 2, 3 or 4 aspect, but surely they should be called 2-aspect, as they can only display one of two options, even although each signal may have 3 or 4 lights? But more serious is the assertion that they are wired to points to mimic them, and are not a set of signals to be switched independently. That is just wrong as each signal can also be controlled separately by having a unique DCC address. The review also says that the mimic panel needs to be accessible to change an address, but that is only for setting up, not for routine use. Of course, the mimic panel does need to be on show if used for the original purpose of forming the basis of a mimic control panel, but that is not the the primary purpose when used with the ground signals. And finally, the review does not explicitly mention that these signals are good value for money, at around £8 each. I have no relationship with DCC Concepts, except as a satisfied customer, but this review does them no favours. Mike B
  8. I agree it's a logical place for it, but since people are being invited to go to a website specifically to confirm that they wish to continue to receive e-mails, a prominent button for that purpose on the home page rather than an option that can only be found by opening a drop down menu would seem more user-friendly. As Penrhos 1920 said, other companies make it simple.
  9. Warners are not making this easy. I received the e-mail, went to the log in link (as a BRM subscriber) but the "create an account" page opened. I re-entered my details and the next page was "this account exists, please log in", which I did. Then to the World of Railways page and I eventually realised that the options needing approval are hidden in the "edit my profile" sub-menu. Giving consent should be quick and easy (one or two clicks as most other companies have managed) not a convoluted process that on anther day would have led me to say, "can't be bothered". And this from a company who are promoting a digital version of a magazine? No thanks, if this is representative of the ease of use of the customer interface of your IT systems.
  10. My subscription copy arrived today, but the 3D pictures do nothing for me and the supplement is in the recycling bin. As I wear glasses and have a lazy eye, the pictures just look a mess and if I put on the 3D-specs the pictures are rather dull red tinged monochrome photos. The effect was the same when I tried out the photos at Warley. I would have provided feedback then, but the BPM editorial team were either busy talking among themselves or not there every time I passed the BRM stand, and so appeared to have no wish to talk to the general public.
