  4. Just discovered this thread. Fantastic what you have done John!
  5. Noch is announcing two new Ge 4/4 III liveries, "Heidiland" and "Lazzarini", https://www.menzels-lokschuppen.de/out/wysiwyg/uploads/pdf/noch/NOCH-Neuheiten-2016.pdf (page 35)
  6. Back in topic, Kato site announced the Bernina coaches (with all the news on the Pdf leaflet) for April...
  7. Ben imho it is not true, actually one can find practically all the italian locos, thanks to producers such as Lo.Co. (he produces all the "articulated" 636 / 645 / 646 / 656, the E 428 in different seires and in Novegro - last september - Lorenzo Colli has presented also a nice E 626) and from Pirata Models (Gran Confort coaches but also D. 341, D 143, E 402 A etc. - and the ABe 4/4 soon). Below a Roundhouse with all the Lo.Co. models... And the D 143 Pirata: In the ASN Society Shop (ASN is the Italian N Gauge Society) you can find also brass sheets to scratch-built the E. 626 (below) and E. 633... PS sorry if I went off-topic
  8. Yes, Kato presented two sets, the "Allegra + 2 Bernina coaches", and as add-on a 4 Bernina coaches set.
  9. The PDF from Kato isn't it an announce. www.1999.co.jp/eng is already taking orders, search for "Bernina Kato" very good prices...
  10. Yes, but they have announced it today... Japan shops are already collecting pre-orders for a february release, price really interesting. Let's wait for Nurnberg now, for prototypes...
  11. As anticipated, Kato has official announced the Bernina line coaches
  12. Hello Ben, I have to get picts from my camera but will post for sure news in the "overseas modelling" section, are you modelling italian N scale?
  13. Hello all, I have been visiting the Novegro Exhibition (Hobby Model Expo, Novegro is near Milan), and Pirata Models has presented their first try of the announced ABe 4/4 III. The model will be realized in the Kato RhB N scale - 1:150 on a 9 mm gauge. As promised I have taken some pictures of the provisional set - all brass, looking really good in my opinion, for the chassis will be used a japanese solution. No price has been specified in Novegro, the use of brass is suggesting something about possible costs, in my opinion...
  14. I think next will arrive the Bernina coaches. And AB Modell is now offering the regauge also of the Allegra, in Nm / 6,5mm gauge. This is a really interesting opportunity, the Allegra (even in reality) is a big cat, so even compared to Nm native material it looks nice.
  15. Hi all, ABe 4/4 Pirata will run on 9 mm track, the model (a not coloured version) will be presented at the Hobby Model Expo in Novegro, end september. I will post some picts after the event. Have a look at the "Pirata 2015 leaflet", the ABe 4/4 news is at page 9: http://www.piratamodels.it/pdf-cataloghi/cataloghi2015/PirataN.pdf About coaches, wait for Kato's Bernina Line coaches, probably next year... (PS for those interested in Nm this year in Stuttgart, during the International N Scale Convention, will be displayed a large modular layout in Nm, 30/35 modules from all over Europe).
  16. A friend of mine is used to scratchbuild his RhB freight cars and coaches... in paper: he just put a Bemo H0m model on the photocopy machine glass, resize the picture to the correct 1:160 and print all the parts, then cutting & gluing he builds up the model on a Marklin chassis. It is really easy, he says, I have to find out some pictures, spectacular results...
  17. Really really nice, I am following with interest your thread...
  18. Most simple (and not expensive), you can buy from AB Modell just axle & wheels, and do by yourself the coaches regauge. I did it, it worked fine...
  19. Paul, you know AB Modell do the regauging job in an excellent way. I can tell you, being a Nm modeller, I am satisyied with the GEX and Allegra . Other models are on the way (Pirata Models announced in Nurnberg the ABe 4/4 III always in N scale, http://www.piratamodels.it/it/; Kato is planning for other models, after the Allegra). And N Track is on the way to realize the Ge 4/4 II in Nm, you know. PS To any interested in Nm I recommend the European N Scale Convention 2015 in Stuttgart, this year it will host the second Nm Convention...
  20. Sorry about Bemo, just saw their news in Nurnberg About the Allegra, it is no problem if it will arrive later but they will do the model.
  21. Kato announced in Nurnberg, last week, the ABe 8/12 "Allegra" (to be developed in April), http://www.bahnonline.ch/wp/82896/kato-n-1-150-neuheiten-2015.htm In my opinion, a big news for us interested in N Scale narrow gauge... I guess Kato's choice (one of 2014 best sellers) has opened other eyes too. Bemo in Nurnberg announced the GEX and Bernina - in normal gauge...
  22. Here is a shot at one module of mine from the ASN (Italian N Scale Society) modular layout, it is an interchange module so that we can connect (in international exhibition such as Stuttgart / European N Scale Convention) with modules made from the german friends - you know in Germany trains go the wrong way, like in England cars, ahem . Photo was taken with a compact Canon, I just added some "sky" in the back with Photoshop
  23. And here is the picture of the Ge 4/4 III + Kato coaches:
  24. Fantastic job! For anyone interested in Nm, Michael Bange from AB Modell has arranged a conversion set for both Kato's Glacier Express coaches & loco. http://www.n-schmalspur.de/neu-katoe.pdf I have been able, this year in Stuttgart, to compare the dimensions of the Ge 4/4III by Schlosser with the Kato Glacier coaches. The coaches are a bit wider than Nm normal material (see / Lok 14 coach) , but the height is perfect. It works, I mean. (As soon as I understand how to upload pics, I will upload my photo ), Ciao, Antonio
