  1. You too! :-) I trust there are a few model-related bits and pieces under the tree. Oh, and if the dog is big enough train it to pull a sledge, with you on it of course,

    Tony

  2. You've got some damn good favourites too! As someone with a weakness for very large warehouses (Fourth Banks, Newcastle was my local as a kid)"Mr Gilbert's" layout is stunning - as is The Pines, etc. BTW, "thanks for the add" lol -is that what they say?! ;-)

    Tony.

  3. - "BYE!" (missing you already)

I have no problem with blogs just need to click on the tab at the top. I do not look at external ones though. There is some really cracking work going on in them stuf not in threads.

Thanks Danemouth, JCL. N15class, there is bound to be something obvious I'm missing... more anon.

The main difference is that visitors to blogs can't post images in them. One chap almost took over one of my layout threads at one point so I started blogging but there seems to be far less feedback so switched back to threads. If only one could link them easily.

  15. BLOGS: How I wish there was a numerical list of entries, like thread-pages, allowing easier navigation!

No restrictions. It potentially sounds like an Internet Explorer compatability issue.

Thanks Andy. Strange, it was a nightmare on one thread but was OK when I gave up on it and shifted to another.

Sorry for the delay, gentlemen. Big Jim: you have my sympathy. I've had it before so it's not the examination I'm sweating over - it's the possible result...

Thanks, Devonsider. Actually, it's not the procedure I'm sweating over - I've had it before and it didn't bother me - it's the result I'm worrying over. If it comes to the worst... Well, it's best treated early.

Yes it does bother me, more so when you know that the person has been posting on Rmweb after you have Pmed him.

Thanks for all the responses, guys. Interesting that my vague question was seen from both sides. As it stands, I'm with ozzyo. If someone is on holiday, fair enough, but when they are still posting, and I've given a decent period, waiting... I've just dumped a thread because of it.

  23. Does your PC suck modelling time away?

Yup! I can't stand bad manners. If I had an issue with someone I'd pm them and sort out (not to the main person in question; that would be pearls before swine) On a thread of mine I'd do my level best to acknowledge every post, regardless of them getting up my nose. ;-)
