  1. Does this method not cause eccentricity at the hub/axle interface?
  2. You can get it through ebay ..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NICKEL-SULPHATE-500g-ELECTRO-PLATING-electroplating-/381062134553?pt=UK_BOI_Medical_Lab_Equipment_Lab_Supplies_ET&hash=item58b912bb19 .... as far as I know it has no real uses for any nefarious purpose, so shouldn't attract any attention
  3. You could nickel plate the brass ones Horse. Use Nickel Sulphate, I've done this with some carburettor butterflies.

Consider the time taken to do these things........ and that people need paying for that time. Not a gripe, merely a point to be made?
  7. That's good going. Maybe shell casings from brass tube? And the big guns used bags of shot charge - so maybe some bigger cases?
  8. Has discovered her yard boots leak - halfway round walking the dog :S

You could try using ball catches in the runners of the traverser. Mount them to bear on ally (strip or angle) they'll act like gibs on a lathe slide? Use the nice small brass/steel types though...... the plakkit ones aren't all that good for this. As regards the wye point, if it worked oone way - why not the other? Is it slightly skewed offline of the entrance, or is there a fault in the frog/checkrails? Emma PS No mention in despatches for L/Cpl Izzy this time?

  22. If the MTB were in harbour, I would think the guns would have canvas covers over the breeches and not be manned ? The Navy were also very keen (just like the Army) on painting stuff...... would there be rust staining on the torpedo launchers etc.? Emma
