Good evening I have managed to do a bit more to the shed area including fitting internal lighting and weathering the concrete pad. Then I couldn't help myself but started to recreate some wigan scenes of Big T locos being stored for the weekend On shed are a few of my Big T fleet including:- 56109 Mutual Improvement 37896 37156 37692 (sectore one off dark grey livery) 37906 star of the east 37675 Margham TMD 37802 60056 William Beveridge 31411 in dept grey "our eli" Hope you enjoy Nik

Well I managed to do a bit of modelling this bank holiday. the task of fitting the new pits and concrete pad for the shed are nearly done. All that I need to do now after a messy day is to weather the pad with the airbrush this week at sometime. The pits were routered out and the pad is herculite plaster which although messy I think gives more texture than just card. I will however be using card to infill the tracks as I find the plaster a bit to messy for that. Nik

Good Morning All Well the day has arrived for me to collect the Wigan Depot building built by Gravey Train on here. Once again he has produced a wonderful building. Here are a few shots from him and I will take some more when in situ later today when I have collected it. Cheers Nik

Good Evening Well here are some up to date pictures of the Wigan shed area including one of the boards marked out for the depot buildings etc... Nik

Well a bit more modelling done however realised I had'nt put pictures of the other side of the layout on the post. This area is a large MPD based on Wigan Springs Branch (my version). Due to its size I have had to amend the track layout and squeeze it in somewhat. So far on the pictures it shows the track and ballasting as well as some of the lighting in place. Just for info I am getting a scale replica of the Wigan depot built by Gravy Train off the RMWeb membership as his work is second to none. Nik Enjoy. Ps also a rake of charter stock has arrived from the classified section of RMweb with white roofs which I have been after for a while.

Just a bit more modelling done so far so I thought I would take a few more pictures of locos on the layout so far. 31601 and 60059 are both repaints from Jon G at Peakdale the 31 being sound. Although it feels slow at points the pictures are starting to show the sort of scenes im lookinf for. Also 47974 waits it's path for the triangle down the helix Nik

Right following some painting and ballasting and a bit of a play adding some bits and pieces the depot is taking shape at last. There is a long way to go but it starting to feel more like a depot now. The next task is build the retaining walls and and some greenery and weathering Nik
