  1. I got them from Hattons. I pre-ordered them quite some time ago.
  2. My order of all six releases is on it's way so I assume all of them have been released. I was at Ally Pally yesterday lunchtime, Dapol only appeared to have one left then so they must have sold quickly.
  3. HIAs now in stock and being dispatched. Mine are on the way!
  4. Dapol have just announced the HIAs are now being sent to retailers. Not too long to wait. http://Dapol.co.uk/index.php?route=information/news&news_id=152#.Vuqva_mLShc HIAs
  5. They are good value and I'm looking forward to receiving them.
  6. Hattons have just increased the pre-order price to £21.17 due the the RRP increase by Dapol.
  7. The 59 is work in progress. It's DCC sound and light fitted. I just need to paint around the buffer beam and attach the buffers and some detailing. I'm very pleased with it. 8. Yes, they said yesterday that they were looking at as many variants as possible.
  9. Yes Dapol confirmed yesterday the other variants would follow the 121 / 122s.
  10. The samples looked impressive. A Dapol rep said they were not that far away, hopefully late Autumn of this year, and thee are more announcements to come. 122b by robfrowen, on Flickr 122a by robfrowen, on Flickr The 121 samples should be hopefully ready by the Alexandra Palace show.
  11. Mine have arrived, pretty impressed, although it does look like transfers as apposed to printing. 12. Four orders if you include my 5 wagons on their way from Liverpool.
  13. I think this also needs to be put into a global context as well. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-35548117 The markets are not doing at all well today.
  14. I've got 5 of them on order, the most my layout will comfortably accommodate. They look fantastic. Pricey, yes, but they are unique and a once only opportunity and I guess it's up to Drax what the feel they want to charge for them as they commissioned the tooling. Will look good with the Rail Express Ltd Ed 66 when it's released. I would say the Hornby Drax 60, but has as already been pointed out on here, that combination doesn't happen.
  15. Hattons have posted a video on YouTube.
  16. As a purchaser of both the FGW and Arriva 143s (both sound fitted) I cannot but congratulate you on what I recon is one of, if not the best model I own. I'm also a big advocate of the Legomanbiffo sound chips, again I recon the best on the market. Best wishes for 2016 and I look forward to the whatever the new DMU will be. We all need patients, something a lot of us on here seem to lack, me included on times, but lets face it, who can say the Class 143 wasn't worth the wait!

    New OO gauge Class 73

That's why I'm sticking to my old Hornby / Lima 73s.
  18. Has anyone got the new FGW 153 from any other source than Hornby? My local model shop still hasn't had them in yet.
  19. As an update, I received a phone call this morning from Hornby confirming that they've painted the grills and posted back the HST. Not bad service at all considering I only posted it on Wednesday!
  20. I couldn't agree more, they should be more careful. However at least they have accepted the error and are offering those who get in contact with them to correct it.
  21. I've finally got round to uploading some of the pics taken during Saturday's S7 trip. Congratulations to the LT Museum for organising the trip and all of the staff for a great day out. Oh and we did reach 49 mph at least at one point! 01 S7 Moorgate 260915 by robfrowen, on Flickr 02 S7 Cab at Barbican 260915 by robfrowen, on Flickr 03 S7 Amersham 01 260915 by robfrowen, on Flickr 04 S7 Amersham 02 260915 by robfrowen, on Flickr 05 S7 Amersham 03 260915 by robfrowen, on Flickr 06 S7 Chalfont & Latimer 260915 by robfrowen, on Flickr 07 S7 at 49 mph 260915 by robfrowen, on Flickr 08 S8 21088 Bachmann Prototype 260915 by robfrowen, on Flickr 09 S7 Watford 260915 by robfrowen, on Flickr
  22. Thanks for the tip. I emailed them last night and low and behold I had a very polite response first thing this morning offering for them to correct the error. Very impressive. It's now winging it's way to Sandwich. Well done Hornby.
  23. Did you get your FGW 153 direct from Hornby? They seem to be the only ones with it at the moment, well if their pre-order supply wasn't sold out. My local model shop hasn't had them in yet.
  24. Well, it arrived on Saturday along with my Arriva TW 143. Not bad at all! FGW143b by robfrowen, on Flickr FGW143a by robfrowen, on Flickr Also 2 videos of it entering and then leaving the branch line. FGW143a by robfrowen, on Flickr FGW143b by robfrowen, on Flickr
  25. What can I say but wow! My 143 arrived on Saturday morning. What an amazing job. It looks fantastic, preforms well and sounds amazing. It was well worth the wait and it certainly didn't disappoint! ATW143a by robfrowen, on Flickr ATW143b by robfrowen, on Flickr And a video on the branch line. ATW143 by robfrowen, on Flickr A big thank you to Charlie and all at Realtrack for an amazing model.
