  1. It's no good wanting a 9f unless you build a rake of MMP 16 tonner's to go with it though....
  2. I thought you would have it all finished by the weekend ;-)... Mind them wheels don't go rusty they can be a real pain sometimes.

  4. for that extra hundred notes I don't think you have to buy or add anything....Both kits make lovely models but I know which I would buy....
  5. The 14xx and 48xx are both the same beast I believe they became re-numbered when they changed the 2-8-0s during oil firing trials but I stand corrected if anyone knows better. Mark J

  11. That's another purchase that you won't regret Mr Grumpy... It's a lovely model to build if you want some detail pictures of the one at Didcot I think it's the one on the box and in the instruction book let me know as I have a few on my PC. There is also an online build or two on here it may be in the old archives though. Mark J

  14. MMP used to sell a back dating kit for the Catfish with the self contained buffers and different axle boxes... I'm sure David will pop in at some point and correct me or tell you if they are still available.
  15. There are too many people paying big money for ready made toys now Jeff for people to pay big bucks for retired ranges now I fear.... We can still live in hope though....

I dont know how they do some of their 4mm stuff for the price let alone their new 7mm offerings but good luck to them I hope they do fill some gaps and at sensible prices to..... and come to that duplications at sensible prices if they bring new blood into 7mm.....
