    John Specifically answering your enquiry, the Greater Manchester County Record Office holds 2 chain surveys of the Glazebrook - Wigan line dated 1883(amongst many others) under the reference A/GCR/517. This will give you a good idea of the 'as built' layout of the station and its immediate surroundings. Andy
