  Brian have you been referred to your hospital's pain team? Nerve pain should be treatable? Ask your GP or ME team for a referral. Have you tried an hot water bottle or hot wheat bag? Sometimes these may help.

  hot water bottle or hot wheat bag does not help I take very strong pain killers for my bad hip these take the edge off but then I am zoned out like a Zombe
