    Another jolly game of hide and seek with the folding sack truck last night, that's 2 hours of my life I won't get back. It was where I left it of course. I'm convinced the thing can cloak!

    arrrgh! bought a couple of Minitrix tipper wagons specifically for the tipping action, didn't notice the pins on the edges of the hoppers have been cut off!

    Has had a tool day today. 8mm end mill cutter, new digital vernier and a cutting ruler :)

    Has just received a near mint original Triang/Hornby R751 class 37. Never should have sold my childhood one :)

      Quick service and it runs like a sewing machine :) It's an early pre 1974 model without the trailing bogie pickups too

      I was contemplating a new layout, it involved a single slip, I got one and panicked. 

      Perhaps I'll use two back to back points instead, much easier to comprehend...

    Is it just me that finds the term "chip" as grating as "Train Station". In my mind chips are for Friday tea or individual electronic components. Oddly I am OK with the term "chipping" a locomotive though.........

    Laid up on in bed with a bad urinary infection. Horse sized antibiotics and cocodamol seem to be working. Was close to being admitted yesterday, close shave lol

    Oh the agony! Minerva class 14 or new layout. OK the thought of a new layout makes me smile more than just buying a plastic loco. Must make me a modeller ;)

      Pics in a gallery is a little like VNC and one picture can often take me into threads I've never seen before.

    Testing a customer's dcc fitted standard 2-6-4 tank engine, buzzing and short circuit on the programming track. Opened it up to then realise it was my own loco - no decoder lol
