Waverley Route new image links and discussion

Looking at the photograpgh it looks to have a Steel Cab Door which makes 08 705 or above (see link below). 08 725 was allocated to Leith Central 08/68 to 02/68 no others appear to fit the bill. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php/topic/6622-class-08-09-variations/page__fromsearch__1 -

Hi Jules, I'm following behind in your footsteps; just got as far as doing some essential diy on the new abode . Next year I hope to start work on the 'Outbuilding' although I still have to completly strip the bathroom and fit a new suite etc ,so not much time for railway modelling Look forward to seeing your layout develop.

Although allocated to Cardiff Canton for Maintenance purposes, they may well have been 'outstationed' at Newport EJ for local traffic.
