  1. Jazz, All the very best wishes to you.
  2. Hello Stephen, Thank you for your detailed reply. As you say,the PDF does provide some useful information, I just don't fancy stripping a new machine down to that level. I have a long ambition to build a 5" LMS 3F (Jinty) or a 57xx / 8750 Pannier maybe something to look forward to in retirement. I have most if not all of the Model Engineer articles on the Martin Evans Jinty. I have been looking at the Chester Lathes, must get along to one of their shops and take a look someday. I've enjoyed reading your postings, very informative.
  3. Is it really essential to strip the machine down to this level just to get a working machine?
  4. 46245 City of London was one of my favorites, she was always kept reasonably clean even though relagated to some Parcel Trains towards the end of her career.
  5. Making the most of this good weather, so my outbuilding (Railway Room) is starting to take shape!

  6. Spring as sprung, time to start work again on the outbuilding (railway room)

  7. Latest news is 'he is in a stable condition'.
  8. Can someone please advise what the two holes were towards the top of the bonnet, I presume they are for the horns? Also there were two circular plates between the Red & White lights, what were these for?

    Dapol Class 22

I have made a start on compiling some Data (see attached file) on the Prototype D63xx / Class 22, it's not complete and will no doubt contain a few errors. In order not to bog this thread down with updates, could you please PM any errors or omissions. If you think other fields should be added to the data then please let me know. I would like to thank all who have made a contribution to this thread, in particular Rugd22 and Trevor H. Edit - Allocations now added to file D63xx.pdf

    Dapol Class 22

I've started a D63xx Spreadsheet listing the variations, if it's not duplicating anyone's work then I;m prepared to compile it on behalf of RMweb members. Not too sure on where the file (PDF Format) can be placed on RMweb so that it can be updated.

    Dapol Class 22

It does say in the Class 22 Booklet that more research is required, so hopefully it will be sorted in the Hard Back Book.

With only 32 (P4 & EM & OO) registering an interest in Class 22 Ultrascales survey, I don't think so unfortunately.

Ultrascale will not be going ahead with a drop in replacement wheelset. See:- http://www.ultrascale.co.uk/show_notice.php?noteid=39
  21. I don't think the southbound stopped at Bletchley, the down postal used to 'pick up' at Bletchley though.
