Good day all , late again as I watched the Grand Prix on getting up . Happy B/day Debs , and many more to come . Nice weather here at the moment ,Mainly sunny but with scattered clouds . A bit weary today having spent 6 hours at Trainwest yesterday , and several £10 notes too . Buy hey , it's only money and you cant take it with you . Mike , you should have taken the tray of spilled Mek down town , I reckon some people would pay good money to get high on the fumes . Okay , time for lunch , have a good one folks .

Dave , the best bit of misspelling I saw in a PC's report , quote , ' the suspect was wearing a berry ' unquote , it did'nt specify what type though , BoD , no suprise with wheel slip on the BoB , I dont think I have seen a bit of film where they ' dont ' slip . Funnily enough Avon & Somerset Police changed from Merc to BMW for the traffic div , vast improvement all round . We had a lot of trouble with the Merc suspension breaking , good job ours came with 3 year warranty , another problem we had regularly was the passenger side rear seat mech failing to unlatch . More work for the dealers .

But you would find yourself at the back of the queue to do that too .

Morning all , patchy overcast with occasional sunny breakthroughs , not hopeful that it wont rain though . Good to hear that Robbie is well on the mend , and I hope that go's for those with ailments too , I wonder if Mike is having his back sorted yet ? Happy Birthday Jam , I wish I 19 again , watch out for the Cider though , it can make your head go funny , well does mine anyway . Good morning and a Happy Easter to all , a bit cool and high grey cloud today , it looks like it might brighten up later though . Some small chores for today , like Phil the washing up , like Mike a trip to the tip with some rubbish , a bit of a general tidying up then some modelling I hope . Good to see Robbie looking well , just keep breakables at table height I suppose while he's wearing the bulldozer blade . Have a good day all , dont overdo things .

Morning all , late today for me , overslept again but as there is nothing important on the books for the day no worrys . Best wish's to Robbie from me too , it must be hard to see a lively dog suddenly stop wanting to do what they normally do . Dave I dont envy you the shift work , I hated it when I got stuck on shifte at the age of 55 after a life of doing 8-00 to 4-30 . At least I did get two days of at the weekend though and it was only a two shift pattern with no nights involved , it still impacted on my life though . Right , time to go and fetch the daily papers and see waht else the day will bring . Cheers all .

Good morning all , the sun has reappeared today just in time for the usual influx of bank holiday visitors , time to avoid the town centre and the slow moving window shoppers . I will try and do some work out in the shed I think , really need to start moving things along if I'm ever going to get some trains running , I wish I could progress as quickly as Gorden S does . Good morning and wecome to another dull and damp day in Somerset , looks like Charlie enjoys the mornings more than I do . Another of those ' what shall I do today ' days for me , lots of small things need doing but at the moment there is not much inclination to start any of them . I'll have another coffee , that may give me the kick start I need . Enjoy your's whatever you do .

Morning one and all , grey and damp down in the SWAG area , certainly no signs of snow though it feels a bit on the cool side compared to those sunny days we had . No plans made for the day , just go with the flow as they say . Have a good one all .

I turned my phone on this morning and got a text from three days ago , thats how often I use it , mine is kept for when I'm out and well away from home in case of car problems etc. Use it to talk to people , whatever for .

Now that looked to be a rather expensive job , quick reactions by the driver though , and the guy in the one being towed was lucky to survive .

Morning all , grey and dreary haere at the moment , a bit colder too . Talking of text messages , my dentists surgury text me the day before an appointment , thats one I can really live without . Yesterdays loco rebuild went well , just some touching up and a couple of small bits to fit and it's ready for service . Now just have to build the layout . I'm not sure what will be occuring today , take it as it comes I think , but whatever is happening in your day have a good one .

Morning one and all , bright but chilly down in the Cider land , today will hopefully consist of re-assembly of the latest loco build , painting went reasonably well yesterday , I seem to have achieved a weathered look without having to use weathering paints and washes . Have a good day all

I think Clevedons beach is a bit like some parts of Burnhams , more mud than sand . Well Brean is still near Burnham , definitely a nice sandy beach too , so you would still suffer sandy sarnies , but the road down through Brean now resembles Blackpools golden mile , very commercial . It still attracts holiday makers in their thousands every year , loads of caravan sites and camping sites all the way to Brean Down . You should do a google maps arial view for the full effect .

Good morning from a sunny Somerset , I dont know about temperatures as I have'nt been outside yet . Nice picture Pete , that loco wuld have looked good on the old Weymouth route to the harbor . A bit of loco painting to be done today , other than that not to busy , certainly no wood chopping . I remember that snowy Easter too Mike . Which part of Somereset Tony if you dont mind me asking ?
