  1. A bit of a lack of updates here due to the fact I don't like the new layout I'm afraid and it was doing my head in working it out. Anyway here is an update on the 86, I just added the lamp brackets and the nice etched horn grill that Pete Harvey did for me. Will add some LED lights next before painting I think.
  2. Yes as far as Hinksey North where the down Goods ended to get past the cemetery. Don't know when it was taken up, bit before my time.
  3. I got PH Designs to do some etches for me a while back to backdate the kit to a 86/0. Also a new headcode box as the kit one is too small. I glued the new one over the old one but it should be recesses a bit more to be honest but I just could not face trying to un solder the original so this will do. The new etched rivet surround now goes with the curve of the front and not recessed as per the kit. Tail lights are made up with the etched "washers" and a light surround etch on the end. There is a new horn grill but I failed miserably trying to solder it up so need another to have a go with. It was a job trying to solder the new V bogie pivot etches onto the floor without compromising the brass strip I soldered in and filled to remove the coil spring location. Anyway it's slowly coming on.
  4. One of the German gauge wagons with UIC numbering loaded up a bit and one cut down with British numbering.
  5. I took a couple of 508's into Kineton a while back. Took pictures on the branch but a no no in the site!
  6. 25135+31274 on a diverted coke train at Oxford 30-09-79
  7. Here is the other wagon with these flats on and another KFA with some more.
  8. Vans are probably a couple of these old Banana vans that the MoD used as barrier vehicles for ammo and these will probably go up to Kineton.
  9. Outside of your time frame I know but some decks were transported from one place to another en-mass once. And a few with containers on! 2009 2008
  10. That 27 and 25 coming into Leicester is just mental, what a combination.
  11. Thanks Pete, those nice shiny ones were never going to stay so they can go back on their Yanky wagon. I just noticed these shots with the sun on do show the graininess of the 3D print but I think I can live with it, so do I make a rake with these wagons?
  12. Inverness 26-09-80, headlights do work! Inverness 18-01-81
  13. Well I have had a bash at making two coils. Slightly different weight card used on these to see which I prefer, and can't make my mind up. Still need to get a white marker pen to add some waffle on them. The strapping is cut down insulation tape. The coils are painted Humbrol Metalccote 27003 Polished Steel and then polished a bit.
  14. Finished the BAA with a dusting from the airbrush. Looks better than I thought it would to be honest. If you want to see it close up I will have it with me at the Bristol Show next week.
  15. Another un-identified 25 in Luton Yard as I dropped in LE to pick up the Luton to Westbury stone empties.
  16. Normal birds are a bit thin on the ground, and on the feeders! But we have had a few different liveried Pigeons recently.
  17. Class 25 on the connecting line between Bedford Midland and Bedford St Johns. Don't know which one it was unfortunately, it would be about 1980.
