Hi, Very interesting project you've got going here. I have built 6 pullman carriages in 7mm . Unfortunately i sold them to a mate. However i have thought about scratch building them again. They were all kits, but some of the parlour cars were incorrect. I altered Perseus . Lucille and Zena were correct. I also built Vera, Ibis and Minerva. I hoped to eventually build what your hoping to buid ie the full set. But my mate came up with an offer i couldnt refuse. I have enjoyed taking plenty of photo's both internal and external so if you need any help with photo's etc send me a PM. Keep sending the progress pics.

I do love those Carflats Rob
Phill
Cheers mate . They dont actually cost much either . The biggest cost are the bogies and the cars .Painted the underframe it's first coat yesterday, so another coat should do then paint the ends, put the motorail signs on ,transfers, bogies and then weathering. Mmmmmmm more work than i had thought, ah well soon be done . Then fix the cars
Cheers Rob

Hi Mike, do you mean Rob or has Phill been talking to you about his GUV. If its mine then i have the bogies and its just a case of spraying it up when the temperature warms up (not for a while then )
Cheers Rob

I'll ask this question again then: what's the significance of the "distressed" namplate?
Hi Alcazar, I am modelling Buccaneer early 70's. She damaged the plate during a accident of some kind and after a while running like this Laira decided to remove the damaged plate,so she ran without it on that side for about 8 months before entering Swindon works for an overhaul, where she eventually received a new nameplate.
