  1. Ive got to say a big thanks to Kevin for letting me have a play, Wish I could have stayed longer. The 4 hours flew by! Also thanks to Barry for the passenger service advice, I only had one over shoot the platform.. It was also nice to meet a few RMwebbers, all in all a good day. What time did you leave Ian?? Kevin, do you mind if I put some of the pictures I took onto this thread? Thanks again, it was a real pleasure. Scott
  2. Hi Kevin, The plan is still to come along on Sunday, really looking forward to having a look round and of course spending time spotting at Leaford.. Cheers Scott PS the 47 is looking good. You can't beat NSE...
  3. Your staff look very good, I especially like the picture with the shunter and the bloke leaning on the barrier. It all looks very natural and realistic. I just hope that one day my layout has some of these qualities. Thanks Scott
  4. Sunday at 11am is good for me... look forward to it. Cheers Scott
  5. You're probably right Kevin, and I'm sure I will spend some money with the traders... I hope you don't mind but I have put a link to the Alton exhibition, so others can see whats there. http://www.altonmrg.co.uk/febex/febex2010-lineup/ Cheers Scott
  6. Sounds like a good plan, considering I'm only really going to see Leaford I'm pretty sure I will have plenty of time to spare. Cheers Scott
  7. Some more great pictures Kevin, looks like I might be off on the weekend of the Alton show so I hope to pop up and say hi... Cheers Scott
  8. Hi Kevin, Good to see some more photos of Leaford again, the 50 looks great. I have found one photo in my collection that has one on an engineers working. So I think its safe to say that you can get away with it, all of us agree.. Have you considered mentioning when Leaford is going to be out and about, I know there are a few dates coming up. I'm sure your fans would like to see it in the flesh! cheers Scott
  9. I'm another one who has missed this delightful layout, it looks really good. Its a nice size and the track layout looks like there is plenty to keep you occupied, a real believable layout. Cheers Scott
  10. Morning Kevin, Your photos comtinue to provide inspiration, and it has given me the kick up the backside that I need to get on with Bocott. I dont suppose you have any photos of your other layouts that you could share with everyone do you. I'm sure they would get the same comments... Keep em coming! Many thanks Scott
  11. Well I got up especially early to get to Bristol to see it leave for Rugely PS... I took some pictures but due to the light they have come out terible. Decent camera on the christmas list now. My cheapo point and shoot is no good.. If anyone wants to see a fuzzy class 70 I shall put it on. cheers
  12. Thanks for the reply, I have just looked at a web site and the Parkway timetable has been updated with it being shown on the 6M55 Stoke Gifford-Rugeley p.s working. so its definately worth a trip out. Leaves Stoke Gifford at 07:43. Cheers Scott
  13. I'm planning a trip out on Friday and was wondering if any of you wonderful people know if 70002 is still hanging out in the Bristol area? I feel the urge to hunt it down like the Yeti.... Cheers scott
  14. When I finally sort out a visit I shall bring some bits up with me. I'll also bring a bin so if you throw anything else out I will recycle it.
  15. I knew it would be popular HH, it just oozes quality, and its also a great layout to watch for ages, as I did at Wimborne... Almost to the point of becoming obsessive. lol I even showed these pics to my other half who actually complemented it! That is an achievment as normally she calls them stupid dumb trains! She also threw down the gauntlet saying "your's will never look that good", now that is a challenge. I know she's right but I'm determined to have a good go.. Have you considered letting EWS run wild on it?? My sound fleet is growing. Scott
  16. At Last, Well done PaulRHB for the hassling! Glad to see you have finally taken the plunge HH, I'm sure it will be popular. Great photos. Cheers Scott
  17. I'm liking the look of this one, what a great era to model. I had many a fond day at Newport watching the trains go by. Remember we all like pictures here so feel free to post lots.... Cheers Scott
  18. Any chance of seeing some photos of your efforts, I'm sure there are people on here who would like to see them... Me being one of them..
  19. I like the "Ugly Betty" look, but then I liked the Colas livery when it first came out.. There's no accounting for taste. Looking forward to seeing them in the flesh. 70001 was moved to Lawley Street by 66585 (info from WRgen) 70002 still at Stoke Gifford Cheers Scott
  20. Hi, yes I thought I would have a look, I remember it when it was in the hands of shedmaster, the DRS stuff looks good.

  21. Having seen your previous efforts on the former RMweb I am sure this will be just as good, spookily enough I have just read the article on Invergeachy, I was going through my old MR's, looking for inspiration for my new layout. I currently have my track loosley laid out in a similar style to it but in OO. Cheers
  22. There's a hell of a lot going on in that first picture, great place to go spotting... I know its been said numerous times but this is a great looking layout and although I have never seen it in the flesh its rated as one of the best in my eyes. I like the look of the the new Dapol fleet too. cheers Scott
  23. I have always liked the idea of Southampton, plenty of stock choice. The layout itself looks really good, I especially like the station building... I think I will have to hunt down some more pictures of it, could be a contender for my layout too.. Or an adapted one... cheers Scott Would you believe it, the station is discontinued, can't find one anywhere...
  24. Good layout you have there mate, the warehouse bit at the back above the retaining wall reminds me a bit of Eastleigh works. My only criticism would be that your wiring is far to neat and tidy! Good website too. Cheers Scott
