  1. John That pic looks like Mk2 coaches, BSO(brake inside)-TSO-TSO-TSO This was common on the EDB to Perth, Dundee and Dunblane services in the mid 80's There were also EDB to Perth/Dunblane Push-Pulls with a Mk2f DBSO in '85 Rgds Mark
  2. Got Blackcaps up here too... We have got sparrows that have stolen a Tit box Wasps started nesting in another Tit box, Replaced that one but don't know if the new one will get taken this late Dippers in the River Ythan at the back of the house And a good variety of finches, Green, Bull, Gold, Siskin and Chaffinch As for the Buzzards, around the north east the seem to have been muscling out the Kestrels for the last few years. Not much hovers around the verges nowadays Rgds Mark
  3. "All those who have already expressed an interest should have received an e-mail from us in the past few days. Mike C&M Models" PM on the way Mike as I didnt get an email Rgds Mark
  4. Yeah I had one of them last year, it took a direct hit to the arse with a .177 and still managed to live, came back two hours later got a head shot to sort it once and for all
  5. Couldn't believe it this morning, house sparrows chewing and clawing at the blue tit box trying to squat/steal materials. Never seen them so aggressive before
  6. Im sure someone with deep pockets will be buying extra sets to split them and allow those who wish four TSO to do so. Or.. three folk get together buy a set, three each and toss for the FO

    Dapol Class 26

Graham, Just found this whilst researching detailing options for my 26. Can I ask, is the air reservoir moulding hollow and ripe for hacking off to detail, or changing to water tank Cheers Mark
  8. I had the same issue with the Large Logo pack for the 37's. Only one of the half dozen of so arrows was actually the correct size, all yellowed and crusty. Rgds Mark
  9. This looks great, Cant wait. And yes I think the Dapol Vans are wrong type for conversion, bummer Rgds Mark
  10. Ah, Now thats something I did wonder about, being at the stage of messing around with kits and RTR and not having a permanent layout YET. The cost of converting a fair stock of Speedlink stock, coaches, and locos is what has me worried. Mark
  11. Can I offer a suggestion here, The face of the headstock is not square, and the solebars do not meet the ends flush. see here for more detail http://allanjenks.smugmug.com/Other/Wagon-Photos/18710228_Jt3tkx#!i=1581605492&k=ZgcpKBP&lb=1&s=A Don't know if this is as you planned or a limitation on the printing process. Rgds Mark
  12. Oooo, good job Ive no space in the garden for a circuit, between HJ with their early AB stock and this lot, Ft William to Mallaig in O is almost do-able... Actually wonder what the best option for a 37/0 is! Must stop!
  13. Did they not used to be in one of the old craftsman detailing kits for 86 & 87's? I have made them before by flattening and forming fuse wire
  14. Topic marked, will patiently wait for the PFA's. See if these in OO are more successful than my last shapeways venture in N Gauge Wagons Mark
  15. I've always liked the idea of RES on a 37/4, might just see if I've got a spare body
  16. whilst on the pans, is it me or are the "horns" at the ends rather large?
  17. That pic of the APT at sheilds road brings it back. I actually remember the 303/311's regularly parked up with all the doors open
  18. Yeah Fantastic, Saw Moor of Rannoch at Aberdeen one year (that'll let you know how long ago it was) and I was amazed how much time you could spend looking at a single line Rgds Mark
  19. Just received a couple of PRA's from the Shapeways shops. Pretty cool, just a bit afraid to even touch them as they look so fragile. one actually arrived either misformed or broken, I'll have to see what I can do about it. Looking forward to working on them and thinking about a Farish TTA chassis for a base. Possibly see if any of my bits and bobs of etched Ladders and platforms will add to it. Rgds Mark
  20. Commuting from Paisley to Central it was always interesting to see what was parked on the viaduct waiting for its next duty. A sight sore missed
  21. Mark Looking fantastic, doing my favourite escape spot proud. Rgds Mark
  22. I'm definately having one of those, and other manufacturers should take note of the Pantograph particularly the head. This looks very good
