  2. Came up from Southampton to Newcastle today on Cross Country Trains could not work out how we bypassed Derby station, I saw Toton site and then Alfreton station, which way is the diversion from Burton on Trent.
  3. I will get some of those adaptors thanks.
  4. Did the body fit back ok, the cab end of mine will not go down due to the extra height of the 8 pin plug on top of the adaptor. What did you do to solve this.
  5. I can’t see any speaker connections on the Heljan DP2 board as that was I wanted to do.
  6. sorry it is a LokSound decoder
  7. Am I right in thinking the speaker wires go to the bottom left hand two soldering points on this decoder. I got this as a replacement but the wires were not attached. Thanks
  8. I got a tts class 47 and fitted it to Lion changed the speaker to a sugar cube and it works great being running for a few weeks now and no problems. Those TTS decoders are defitnally great value for money.
  9. Thanks Phil, yes I was thinking of getting a Hornby TTS for my Lion not sure will have a think.
  10. Am I right in thinking the sound for DP2 would be a class 50 sound files? and Lion class 47
  11. All done works perfectly.
  12. Yes thanks Andi I was thinking that, it is the first time I have used Peco points and did not realise the difference to the Hornby ones.
  13. I need some help, have had DCC for some time on a few layouts without any problems so this one came out of the blue, small layout 8x5 with Lenz 100 controller installed a Peco SLE 189 point for a siding and power to the siding and of course power on the mainline. Problem is when I power up the system shuts down a short I think if I disconnect the power to the siding all is well until I switch the point and then again shuts down. Do I need some insulated fishplates for the point or could it be something else. Thanks in anticipation.
  14. Hello all I lived in Seaham Harbour from 1947 until 1973 my spotting days started in 1957 my purpose for this post is for anybody remembers the line that ran up from Ryhope and through Seaton and I think onto Leamside, I remember several times seeing unpainted Diesel locos I think class 25 & 37 running up and down the line I think thery were from the Hawthorn Works at Darlington obviously on test anybody else seen this?
  15. I am the same only my deliveries have not come yet, several Emails but no definite reason for delay have asked but no answer just flannel. I am very disappointed after years of being a customer, the irony was the Sheffield dealer had stock and were ready to send I would have had it now but I waited and waited still nothing. My main problem this is track as I want to get started again after a few years, no track no start.
  16. I have actually found the guy in Oz same company name different phone number and address spoke to him and he is still the distributor for Lenz so off its gone all is well.

  19. marvellous thank you, I did google but only retailers came up.
  20. Thanks for that RFS I should have said I am in Oz and the unit will be over 10, I think, I am going to get our friends at DCC Concepts who are quite near to have a look and sort it out I hope. I did connect to a programme track and still had the same problem no power to the track.
  21. I have a similar problem, unit not used for about four years and now all I get is a slow red led flash all the time, there is no short I have put wires on to a very short piece of track still no solid led. No voltage to the track but voltage to the unit I am using a five amp Pace transformer. Have tried resetting but nothing changes, do you think the LZV100 is for the bin.
  22. Well got my pictures at Armathwaite and then on to Carlisle a good day.
  23. Is there anywhere where you can see the action (if any) at the new works at Newton Aycliffe , looked on Google earth doesn't seem to be much public access around but hoped somebody in the know can advise.
