I have to agree with Anthony.
Really enjoy seeing updates on this little gem of a layout.
You're loco's look spot, and the last few pic's of the cutting is ace.

It was still in the mainline livery in 2007. From pic's I have just seen, it was used on engineers and infrastructure workings in the 90's. So it's possible it did run on the WCML.

Just re read your thread from the beginning. Didn't realise that your spotting day's is only a few miles down the road from me. Deffo a interesting range of freight flows through Tring in those day's

I remember seeing them in Bletchley sidings as a kid in the 90s. Only ever saw them head off north though.
