I know that it's in the process of being updated and modernised.
But the old Bletchley to Oxford line line ended it's day's as mainly freight

Porkie It is a shame not more people give it a go in N gauge. I would not consider myself and expert modeller by any means, but the difference it makes to the feel of the layout is huge. I am sure there are people out there capable of doing better, just a shame most people seem put off by it.
All the best
Dave
If I wasn't using the Dapol masts, I would definitely be interested in trying to attach the wires. But just not possible at the moment as my masts rotate to give rail access for cleaning

Absolutely stunning David . Set's the scene perfect.
You should be really proud of what you have achieved considering its not done very often in N
Keep up the good work fella

Definitely something going on at the Bletchley end of the link, between the flyover and newton road. A rail digger has just along the rails infront of my house

Coming on really well Carl, some really nice flowing curves through the yard.
Won't be long till you have something running at this rate
-
Really looking forward to the order book to open for this one.
Something that has been on my wish list for years

Looking good fella.
Really do like the grubby dutch 47

Thanks Steve that's a great little write up fella.
The shades of blue are an absolute mere. To get near perfect. It does look very close to the blue I used on my Tiphook Rail steel carrier wagon.
Which was Halfords Rover (Nautilus blue).

Nothing wrong with steel wagons,
My blackadders are still wrapped up. I Just need to get peco chassis before I make a start.
Really wouldn't mind a bash at hooded spa's

Depending on how big you want to go.
The scale scene one is a great looking kit.
But if you are modelling a large modern day layout faller have just released this bit of kit
-
modern locomotives illustrated annual 2.
Has a section. which covers the Royal train from the early day's to present. With a full coach run down and the loco's in use over the years.
