  1. Missed our chance to create an "upset" today and let Derby get out with a replay, oh well there's always next year!
  2. Superb! I'd be interested in more pics of the 4TC set, is it a kit or a cut 'n' shut?
  3. FA Cup again today my nerves are on edge! Away to Staines in front of the TV cameras just waiting for an upset to show later.
  4. Paul I completed the shed conversion this week and there are pics on my layout thread "Exford Park" if you want a look.
  5. Thirded! Can I ask what you used as it looks so good, this is the job looming for me! Do I understand correctly that it is end to end or does it in fact complete a loop?
  6. Evening HH Pictures look great. I'd be interested to know more, can you give us a bit more detail or a plan please, is it a roundy roundy and how big?
  7. You can keep all your premiership prima-donnas and whingers as well as the overated jock teams as far as Im concerned, myself, my son and my dad are off to Brentford tomorrow to see the Lions win away! (hopefully)
  8. Hi Dave good to see your back. I agree about the blogs, I created one but I think I will be moving back to the layout thread stylee, old dogs etc etc!!
  9. Have a look at the Ranson Bridge layout thread he has done the same thing with a Hornby shed. I will post some pics once I get a bit further than just the basic shell.
  10. (1) use the old Hornby kit seen here with a coat of paint, replacing the floor and adding some dirt. Funny you should say that, its exactly what I've been doing over the weekend! I have also turned it into a single road shed with a bit of measuring and careful cutting. Once the filler is dry and I get the time it will be repainted internally and clad with Wills sheets and detailed to give me something a bit different.
  11. The boys are back in town - Thin Lizzy
  12. Ark Royal I haven't overcome the window issue as it doesn't really bother me that its not 100% accurate, but if I place the loco the right way round on the track the window is on the outside of the oval and therefore I can't see it. As for the weathering I haven't got as far as removing it yet but I know many others have without too much trouble. Renumbering is easy enough, I used T-Cut on a cotton bud to remove all the factory numbers as I found that the Fox numbers are slightly smaller than the Hornby applied ones.
  13. The current Exford Park fleet: 50002 Superb. RNSE (dark). Untouched so far. 50003 Temeraire. RNSE (light). Renumbered/weathered from Lion. 50007 Sir Ted GW150. Added new plates with black backgrounds. 50024 Vanguard RNSE (dark). In works being renumbered from 50045. 50031 Hood Blue LL. As bought. 50036 Victorious Blue LL. Renumbered/weathered from 50035. 50046 Ajax Blue LL black roof. To be renumbered/weathered from another 50035. 50050 Fearless RNSE (light). To be renumbered from another Lion. Possible addition could be an Early NSE example at some point. The renumbering is a slow process as any spare time is devoted to building the new layout.
